Good marital comedy. Margaret Rutherford was fantastic and stole the show. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
The War Wagon (1967). Really wasn't impressed with it. Best part was the theme song by Ed Ames. He's always good.
I’m glad this didn’t actually occur. I think the only part based on the true story is what they stated in the end about missing women reports about Native American women. Having said that, I can totally see how something similar to this could happen. I give the movie a STRONG 10/10 and as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don't look to closely at Jimmy Stewart's toupee. Strother Martin is off the chart. And, I have always been a Vera Miles fan.
I’ve been home all week battling the flu and watching a bunch of movies. Most have been rather disappointing but I thought The Mack was surprisingly good. I was expecting just another bad blaxploitation film but Richard Pryor and Max Julien added some pretty unique elements to the story and script. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
No. I think I stumbled across the middle of it on tv a year or two ago but didn’t stick with it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Just for the cast alone, it was worth watching at least once. Not going to say it's worth watching more than that.
The Cloverfield Paradox Meh. It was okay but didn’t really seem related to the series. I wasn’t too surprised to read the trivia on it and see that it was originally intended to be a stand alone movie unrelated to the Cloverfield series and timeline that was changed to kind of fit. I was wondering how this movie was supposed to be a prequel when people were driving current vehicles, using current smart phones and had a futuristic space station. Apparently this movie takes place in 2028. Supposedly the next movie is going to tie them all together. I guess you can just do whatever you want if you loosely throw in an alternate universe subplot. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
One of my favorite movies. I have to watch it every couple of years. Such an epic film with a great cast and beautifully shot. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Fun movie. Some of the effects hold up well compared to all the CGI nonsense today. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I watched this when it originally came out at the Drive In. It was fun! The funny thing is the main actor Jeffrey Combs, I've grown to really like his acting as a variety of characters.
I rated Radius (2017) 9/10 #IMDb Finally! A new movie with an interesting and original plot line. Seems like it’s been a while since that happened. #Netflix #WatchIt #RadiusMovie Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Movies viewed today so far. Probably one more tonight. Jigoku/The Sinners of Hell Slow but interesting movie about an intertwining group of people who end up in hell. There were a few gory scenes I imagine were very graphic for 1960. Very influential Japanese horror movie. Return to Giant A documentary about the making of Giant. Pretty interesting and fun to see how the Hollywood crew used Texas locals in the film and allowed them to watch the filming. The small town pretty much had full access to the stars when they weren’t on set. Funny movie I had never heard of. Arnold isn’t in the movie much but he seemed to have fun making fun of himself. You definitely have to listen to his Country Western song, Avalanche of Love during the credits. I would like to think he purposely sang it terribly but I think he was actually trying. Fairly decent movie. I enjoyed the first Battle Royal but hadn’t seen it for several years so I’m not sure if these movies really flow together or not. This one had a lot of action but some odd acting. The ending was very improbable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
The wife and I got a little more than halfway through this one before she decided to go to bed. We’ll finish it another night. Humorous but not as good as we expected. I stayed up and watched this: Pretty awful. Just bad enough to want to watch it through to the end. Times were apparently hard in the 80s for Frosty. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Not great but not terrible. The cartoon lady was pretty hot. I’ll probably watch it again at some point. I was half asleep during most of it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
