Single pass evening head shave, Fatip-Yaqi DOC. Great shave , the combination not as mild as anticipated, very efficient but more forgiving than the Fatip stock. Hybrid head works with a number of handles but Cooper is closest to the Piccolo in weight and length.[IMG]

Thanks Guy. It was the first time I ever used a repeater and I was surprised. Based on my E2 injector, I thought the B2 would be more aggressive, but I found it to be more on the mild side. It provided a nice comfortable shave. The head is a bit larger compared to the E2, and it took a bit more care shaving around the nose area. I am looking forward to using it more. It really cleaned up very nice and the repeater mechanism works very smooth.

    Favorite February

    February 17 - A week with Mitchell's Wool Fat - Day 2

    Razor - Gem MMOC
Blade - [IMG] ASR Carbon - CVS (2)
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Brush - 30DC LE
    Post - Alum

How do you lather the Fat if it's giving you problems? (It isn't giving me any but just in case someone is) Make sure to soak the puck for about 20 minutes. Get a synthetic brush and dip it in water about 15 seconds. Shake vigorously just so it won't release any water. Load the brush on the puck for about 30 seconds or until it's clearly full. Face lather to a super slick and cushy lather and repeat for as many passes as you want. I guarantee you'll get at least 5. And, with that short of a load time I'm thinking the already nearly impossible to use up Fat puck will become nearly eternal.

Great lather, smooth shave, three full passes and I squeezed a full handful of lather out of the brush at the end, and the baby is in the house once again. Yep. It's that easy. The OCMM is a fine shaving machine once you get it dialed in.

You loaded modern blades in the repeater chamber.? I'd be careful with that. Actually I wouldn't risk it, modern blades are not the same dimension.

Razor - Gillette Superspeed circa 1947-1952 (Re-plated in Nickel Finish by Razor Emporium)
    Blade - BiC Chrome-Platnium *4th shave
Shave Brush - Custom Created Handle by an "Unknown" Artist (Fitted with a synthetic 26mm Knot by Nathan of Envy Shave)
Shave Soap - Shulton Old Spice circa late 1970's-1980's

Aftershave - Shulton Old Spice circa late 1970's-1980's
Deodorant - Shulton Old Spice circa mid 1980's
Fragrance - Shulton Old Spice Cologne Spray circa 1980's
    "Grand Turk Ship" Shaving Stand
    by Desire Metal Works

I painted and transplanted a modern Old Spice Cologne Spray Cap to the vintage Shulton Tester Spray Bottle and it was a perfect fit!

Edit....And the classic, Shulton products did not disappoint! BBS 3-pass+cleanup. The combination of the BiC Chrome-Platinum and the vintage Gillette Superspeed along with that incredible Shulton Old Spice shave soap delivered in the best way. One of the best shaves I've ever had too. Super-smooth and no irritation. Seriously, few products today are made that deliver such great results. It was another day where I time traveled. Smells like I remember when I was a small kid in the late 70's. This is the shave I invested this time and energy into putting this together for.

A nice pleasant Sunday morning shave but these Feather blades aren't my favourite which is probably why I don't reach for this razor as often as the VC-1.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

A crisp, early morning shave after a bit of snowfall. The Mamba & Kai have worked brilliantly for me during this getting to know shave period. Just wonderful shave after shave. Not a single negative thing to say. Have a great day and shaves Gents.... :eatdrink047:

Optimal shave today. The lather and scent are favorites, easily top three for me. I am running very low on the toner - I may have to bend my no buy 2018 to replenish it.
