Today's shave was brought to me by the following:
Razor: Gillette SuperSpeed (76-ish I think - and too lazy to go look)
Brush: Thater 4125/1
Soap: C.O. Bigelow
Blade: Shark Super Stainless
A/S: Mystery dollar store blue stuff labeled "Fresh"

No photo today...After a long absence at the torch, I went down to the "studio" (that would be the garage) and made some lampwork beads with my wife. I need to get back into it more often, it truly is a lot of fun. Plus, it helps her build up some inventory to sell.

Anywho....the shave. Not much to say, actually. Two, well, kinda three passes, a generous splash of the mystery blue and I'm good to go.

Partly sunny with highs around 76f today in Sweet Home Alabama. Close to 80f tomorrow. Records are falling.

 

I'm frightened by that dollar store aftershave with the minimal labeling. The ones at Dollar Tree just look rough. But hey, what's the worst that could happen? I think @RaZorBurn123 used some of the Dollar Tree Macho splash once.

 

I've tried it. It's ok. My face didn't fall off.

I think I have some, it's ok. Very barbershop/Musk world scent profile. Worth a dollar for fun.

 

Never been to the Hang Out personally, but there is always lots of press coverage in the Birmingham area about it. That's great - have fun! I love the Gulf Coast.

My wife and her friend are into beading. They were supposed to be sold but for the most part they ended up being gifts for friends or for their own uses.

I'm pretty sure if I had paid more attention in my egyptian math in college this would have made more sense to me.

 

She's cute, but like many of the girls I dated in my younger days, a bit of crazy can take the shine off of cute pretty quickly. Anyway, I'm going to go live in the now, now. I just have to figure if that's the now of the giant clock we live in, or the now as indicated by the clocks in the Matrix are telling us is the now. Wait, is the giant clock in the Matrix? I gotta go back and review.

 

So the new shave cream arrived today... Proraso White.

Razor: Merkur 34c
Blade: Astra SP
Lather: Proraso White
Aftershave: Alum and Nivea Sensitive

I really liked the feel of the Proraso on my face, but it was a really bad shave... Clearly rushed being over-eager to shave! Not a close shave for the 2xWTG, nor was it a comfortable one particularly.

Ahh well, many more chances to get it right!
