Another very early morning shave with no chance to post about until now. Had an awesome shave this morning. Loaded the E3 with a new Chinese Schick blade as I had no idea what was in it, or for how long. Lathered up the fantastic Gentleman and had 3 smooth and uneventful passes. Finished with more Gentleman awesomeness and was gone out of the house before SWMBO was up and about. All of these products and tools are well-placed in Favourites February.

I just got the most awesome shaving bowl ever in a trade with @jtspartan. Feel free to ooh and aah like you’re watching fireworks on the 4th of July. That’s pretty much what I did when I opened the box.

Glad it got there in a timely fashion, Randy. That'll be the last of them in that style. That's the only one without 'buttons' on the bottom as well.

 

Curling would be hard to broadcast: "All right, he steps up, bends down, skates ahead, fires that baby ahead, now it's up to the ice-moppers to make sure it goes in its proper direction, they go up, down, up, down up, down-such glorious form with those mops, as they guide that disk along, screaming encouragement along the way....AND it ends up knocking some other discs all over the place".

I love using Jeeves in a tub to be honest, Clint. I find it a very reliable lather, either on face or bowl, when starting in on the brush.

Even my wife (who typically responds to my excitement about new shave gear with a halfhearted, monotone, and unconconvincing “uh-huh, that’s nice”) exclaimed “Wow that’s gorgeous!” when I unpacked it.
The way I remember it, she had a similar reaction when she met me on a blind date.

 

You didn't give me much left!! But I now I think I MIGHTA done a better job .

 

For the record, I'm watching USA vs Switzerland as I type.
