Great video, Fuzzy! I always enjoy watching them. I just knew you’d love Electric Sheep. Top notch soap.

    Head Shave Only
Pre-shave: hot shower & Nivea Men Sensitive Face Wash
    Brush: Barburys synthetic
Soap: RazoRock Oil of Lavender Shaving Cream Soap
    Razor: Schick G1
    Blade: Schick (1)
Post-shave: Thayers Lavender WH, Nivea Men Sensitive PS Balm, Family Dollar Spice AS

I'm letting the face whiskers grow another day for GILLETTE ADJUSTABLE FRIDAY tomorrow, so I just went after the head shave this morning. I whipped up a nice lather from the RazoRock tub and applied it to the scalp. But as soon as I started to shave with the G1 I felt some tugging and I could see it wasn't cutting all of the hair. Without hesitation I loaded a new blade and proceeded on the path. The new blade performed flawlessly. A single pass, followed by some clean-up, and I was finished. Very nice.

    Happy shaves, everyone!

Excellent shave, Andrew! The razor is beautiful, and the lather bowl by @jtspartan is magnificent!

Rick, thanks for taking the time to do the comparison! Well-done!

    Awesome shave, Fuzzy!

I was going to ask and confirm they were both 1914s but Fuzzy @wchnu confirmed it for me in his follow-up post. They are very nice looking razors!

I haven’t tried any off the other reserves, but as soon as the large bottle of Gents Gin is available again, I’m gonna get some. It’s got a little lime in it and some cedar. I really like it.

15193446143992.jpg Today's shave went flawless again. Almost sad my rule is coming to an end . I stated in a post awhile back that the proraso might not make it past the 30 days and I am pretty close on that. I shave head and face daily so I expected it to be close . I'm not a good photographer so sorry for the sideways pic. Hope everyone is having a great day/ night where ever yous are .

That’s a very nice setup for a rule! I like those late-model Super Speeds. They’re mild, but they can be efficient. @Jayaruh has a fondness for them too, I’ve noticed.

I have a 2 1/2 hour wait in the Denver airport. I’m hoping that is enough time to catch up on this thread. Wish me luck

    Thanks,
Mine is a P1 , same birthyear and same quarter. I am now finding it to be mild since using it daily for over 3 weeks now .
