After changing my mind almost twenty times I decided on a setup for Saturday morning!

    Here it is:

    Nivea Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Astra day 6
    RVT Roseline SS
    Lubriderm Moisturizer
    Lagerfeld Classic EdT

Eish, (a South African expression!) dit is baie lekker! (Afrikaans for "this is very nice!"

Great relaxed shave with the Barbasol Floating Head, Nacet proved a little easier going than the Permasharp. Took my time with two passes on the head shave and am very pleased with the results. Happy Friday everybody.[IMG]

What’s that Barbasol like? Efficient as an R41? Is it smoother than an R41?

Everything about an aftershave called “ Limenthol” sounds awesome to me!

I will do a direct comparison the next few days. It's smoother than the R41 for me. Efficiency a tougher call but it's in the ballpark.

I thought that was common knowledge. I've always been told Bigelow was just Proraso repackaged.

You can say what you like about King Camp Gillette but his company made some cracking razors and the Tuckaway is one of them.
What a lovely well balanced little travel razor it is and it provided a nice smooth finish to the week, aided magnificently by the Salter Tallow soap.
With soaps like this and Vitos so well priced is there any need to buy other brands?
No, but if we only bought what we needed the consumer society could go tits up and then where would we be?

    Happy Shaving one and all!

    RyX DoH!

Yup, but some folks are just hearing it for the first time. The subject came up in The 30 Day Rule / Focus Group. Since I had both products in my inventory and enjoy an Inspired Shave I got to use two of my favorite brushes, a couple great shave bowls, and both soaps during one shave!

    Gillette Black Beauty (R3)
    Bic Chrome Platinum Blade
    Klenzo B-843 Boar Brush (restored)
    Omega Shave Cream
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Lucky Tiger Aspen After Shave

Today's shave was definitely a top shelf shave. Just a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave in two passes and some touch up.

No offense taken, and you didn't. I understand tone of voice doesn't follow in a text medium. You also gave me an opportunity to start a new thread. I often choose my next shave based on the gear others use if I own the same.
