An absolutely marvelous three pass BBS shave which was a great pleasure. Mo's RVT Frosty Bay Rum produced lots of rich, deliciously-scented lather with a good menthol effect and very comfortable post-shave care. The Krampert's Bay Rum aftershave went on very moisturizing and soothing!

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

TOBS Avocado Cream today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum-Plus still in the Gillette Fat Handle Tech. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

palmolive had aftershaves in the USA - up until the 1950's - This is a Eurpean Version of the after shave - and from the name being classic - i think this was a 1980s or 90's product that was discontinued - i cant find any info on this Palmolive european product - but it smells JUST like the bar soap and the shave stick - just a awesome fresh and soapy scent - I paid a lot for this - but it really is a great scent - and this bottle must have been stored in "good" place as it smells fresh and it is not funky or old smelling.

There's been a change in my planned setup because this Wriggly Tin soap is actually better than the Sottozero one that I originally selected. It's also from South Africa and made by a different artisan than the RVT soaps. This one is also a lather monster, it has a decent scent, and it's surprisingly more cooling than the Sottozero. It's very skin-friendly as well. The rest of the setup will remain the same!

 

Enders Speed, Schick Super Stainless Injector, My Father's Face #3. Excellent mild shave . I love the design of the Enders.
