My sister in law was born and raised in Atlanta. She said that when it snowed it was like the end of the world. School would close, grocery stores would sell out of bread, milk etc. She also said it would then warm up 4 hours later and you would never know it snowed.

Morning everybody! My plan for today was to wake up at 7 and I just rolled out of bed about 15 minutes ago. Go me...Anyway I'm going to jump in the shower so as you guys know I'll be back some time before midnight maybe.

 

I like me the rabbit stew.

Public Service Announcements

Mornin' all. A few things crossed my mind last night and now this morning that I figured should get discussed.

1. We need a new moniker. TAT is gone (renamed now at the other place as well) and HYG doesn't roll off the tongue very well. I was thinking Cubs or Cubbies--to go along with the whole "den" thing. I don't know. Thoughts?

2. To all the TSD old timers we have this thing about pancakes and bunnies. I don't know how it happened or why we have such an affinity for them. Don't be alarmed; just roll with it.

3. As mentioned in #1 TAT was rolled into another thread back at the old homestead so yes, I suppose in a sense it's back. Not the same for me; it's under a new name and has pages and pages from some previous long forgotten thread. I have absolutely zero interest in starting some rivalry or war. I'm just letting you all know. I'm going to try and hope to keep this one going.

4. Most importantly to all we new folks here. Please avail yourself of all the threads and forums at TSD. Let's not be rude to our new digs and strictly hang out here. They have welcomed us into the fold; let us return the favor.

Well put there Shep. Now I got to cross the Bunny with a Cubbie. Humm Cunny..... not sure what that looks like. Might be ok with a pancake on it's head.

Hey, Shep, I understand your feelings, and like I've mentioned several times across town, the Waldo and TAT were basically the same thing, different name, but I understand that not wanting to see change either (no this isn't a political thread now, even though that is my feeling on that, too)
anyway, as far as nickname, it could be "pannies", for PANcake bunNIES....:happy102
oh, and I still have no idea what that first post added to the any-waldo thread is all about!

 

If your wife asks what you want for Christmas and you tell her you want something, no matter how sure you are that she won't buy it for you, don't go out and buy it for yourself until after Christmas. Lesson learned.
