Been using a Schone I bought on Amazon (first OC). The razor is made by Fatip, however, the head looks slightly different. Anyone familiar with these comparatively? Been wanting to try a Fatip, but not sure if the shave is any different than the Schone.

 

I believe it is the same head, it looks identical to my Fatip Piccolo.

 

When last I compared pictures it had a different number of teeth. I'm not sure what that means shavewise.

This Marspen is one of my favourite vintage DEs and one you may not have seen in the US.
It's from Marks & Spencer a British Dept. Store circa 1936-45, more than likely pre-1939 due to the war effort.
It's very short combed and a smooth, efficient shave.

 

Thanks for that. They appear to be a similar shave.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The L'OCCITANE Cade Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #105 two-band badger brush. I did two passes with the Henckels Rapide Razor using a Henckels Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
