The bloom on those 26 mm brushes is pretty insane, isn’t it? Great shave.

It helps that I had a few soaps that were partially used. I just needed motivation to work through them. It will be nice to actually have space in my drawer again.

With an invite to have lunch, I pulled off a daring Next Day Shave. Not my normal every other day schedule. Might be some ladies to chat with so I went Old Skool. The soap performed up to par in that classic scent. Brush did what it does best - perfect lather applied so soft all I felt was the lather. Still had the alternate Japanese blade loaded. I'm impressed the the apparent thickness of the steel and it's holding it's edge. Three light passes & little clean up left me DFS+. Skipped the alum and went straight to the AS. Wondering what's for grub now.

Insane is a good adjective. It seems to keep getting larger. I don't think it would be a good bowl brush but it will whip up a fantastic face lather. It's super soft and although it lacks the backbone more expansive brushes have, it's a great value for $40.
