Thanks, Charlie! It was a nice day. Took the wife and girls to a beauty salon in the morning, then picked up my big present. A $900 flaming (at least smoking) pile of rust and Ford. It’s ugly, but mostly runs well. Looking forward to having a garage to play in again. Finished the day with a nice dinner with the family.

I just finished watching a so-so war movie from the 60s. I see Adam showing off more blood-letting than the entire film!

Straights and shavette are two different beasts. Don’t count out the straights because of how touchy and difficult to use a shavette is.

Here’s something crazy- I think, at least initially, I prefer my Weishi to the 40’s superspeed I just got. I’m sure I need to learn the angle better, but the Weishi is supposed to be the same head geometry.I can get the same great shave from the Weishi with less attention.

I think I may have found a focus for this month-40’s superspeed!
