Right from the start, Gillette advertised its three-piece razors as being "adjustable" by varying how tightly the handle was screwed down. I've tried it and it does sort of work. IIRC, however, the TTOs were always supposed to be locked down.

It was a long day yesterday, so here is a two day SOTD
I switched from the Feather Pro Super blade to the Feather Pro this week. My monthly focus on this razor will include trying multiple blades. I’m liking this one so far.

On the upside, if I have fruitcake every morning for breakfast, it'll save me a few bucks on breakfast cereal.

Absolutely marvelous shave this morning! I love the B type repeaters, they have good weight and deliver an amazingly smooth shave. I transplanted this blade out of my Type D that I used a few weeks ago and hand loaded it into the B2, on its fifth shave it still had no problems tackling three days of growth. Have a great day my friends!

Fantastic photo Andrew. The B2 Prototype looks stunning. How does it differ from the regular B Repeating Razor?

Thank you, Clint! The production B models do not have any screws or rivets in the handle. Also this one has this rather interesting knob at the bottom to pull out the blade loading mechanism that isn't present on the production models.

Thank you for the great advice. I have hunch I will probably land on the 4 too, after I'm done trying new settings. At some point I try different settings during the shave, seems like a hassle though, but I've got 26 more shaves with razor....

Instruction for the Sheraton claim it to be adjustable by loosening tension on the TTO knob.
