My shave this morning was so BBS and enjoyable with the RVT Green Fields soap. Its delicious peppermint scent, that awesome lather and the strong cooling effect with such a comfy post-shave feel. The Arko Aqua gel is not available any more but I still have some - it smells great, it's cooling, and it's very soothing!

    Have a good one!

    Talbot Tuesday
I used my #brobox2018 River Rouge today and I'm impressed. This is my first Talbot soap, the lather was easy to build and super slick. It left a smooth post shave feel, and paved the way for a very comfortable shave with my Rockwell. Unconditional Surrender absorbs into my skin quickly and feels great. The scent of River Rouge is based on Varvatos Dark Rebel, and it's amazing. US is a pretty good pairing. @reyes_restores @darylelafleur @cannon_shaves @ianpatrickryan @naterosy

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Rockwell 6s
    Blade: Voskhod
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Silver Surfer
    Lather: Talbot River Rouge
    Aftershave: Chatillon Lux US

Just a quick no-frills shave for tomorrow,

    Thursday morning:

    Nivea Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Goodfella/new Shark
    Vi-John SC

I'm not allowed to use any balm, moisturizer, or anything scented, except for a deodorant because of this bloody surgery - thank goodness I'm allowed to at least take a shower. This Goodfella razor is from New Zealand and it's very good for a beginner to traditional wetshaving since it's very forgiving. Since I have a very tough beard it would take at least five-six passes to get BBS with this DE so I'll have to settle for whatever I get. The Vi-John cream (thanks again, Mo!) is one hell of a good latherer and it smells quite nice. Its skincare is also excellent.

Guys, pray for me to come through because I'm very nervous.

    Razor: Gillette Guard
Blade: Gillette Single Edge Guard Cart. (6)
    Pre Shave: Homemade
    Lather Proraso Green
    Brush: VDH Badger
    AS: Aqua/Afta
    Newspaper Date: Nov. 7,1943

The same 2 pass shave, WTG/ATG with clean ups (samo, samo). I usually get 7 good, I mean really good shaves from each `Guard` blade, so tomorrow will end this blade and I want to try, either my small Gillette tech or my RR Hawk,@PickledNorthern they neither one pivot, so I`ll have to be VERY careful. Wish me luck, and God Willing. By the way, I`m getting a little faster on the treadmill, and feeling much better.
The tech shaves nice, but I love the Hawk, it is(to me) one of the best looking razors on the market, as well as shaves super fine. Wishing for good shaves for all, God Bess.

I thought maybe a shim would help smooth out the Gem equipped Rapide on my head shave. It was again a decent go on the beard but just not very comfortable on my head. Shake Sharp for the save, one pass + BBS. Stacked Perma-Sharps, first shave on the edge.[IMG]

    Soho Joe Original Face Wash
    Maseto 30mm silvertip
    TOBS Sandalwood cream
    Gillette New LC
    Gillette 7 O'Clock Black
    A little alum, and
    L'Oreal Men Expert 24hr Balm

The TOBS Sandalwood gave me an unbelievably irritated shave. Bright red face all over. I used to think it was my technique when I first started, but I've come to realise my face just can't handle some of the scents and oils in soaps or creams.

    Have a lovely evening!
