One of the reasons I stopped working for a large corporation years ago, now I work for private equity investors running mid size businesses. It removed the politics and greatly reduced the overly long navel introspection conference calls.

4th shave this month with the pain stick.... today it went extremely well. I did not bleed at all. No nicks, cuts, weepers or anything. It's still a challenge on the neck but I just take it easy and take my time. I'm doing no more than 1 pass on my cheeks (really don't need more than that), and 1 pass on the neck with some clean-up. If I try 2 passes overall I have some irritation. No irritation today, however. The Williams lather performed amazingly well. The Jeris Musk was the perfect conclusion to the experience today.

I forgot I had this album. I bought this one (for the price you see on the it) when I was in high school because I liked the song Ariel.

Finally, before the Cookies vs. Fruitcake conflict gets out of hand.... I have Banana Bread!

I seem to remember several of you guys mentioning Oleo Soapworks. Anybody have the duck fat version and/or have thoughts about the scents?

 

That’s what I’m talking about Dan! Throw a slice of that banana bread in the toaster and spread some cream cheese on it, and you are making the cookies and fruitcake crowd look like the proletariat!

That is with the possible exception of anyone who got those thin white iced cookies that people make at Christmastime. Those are my favorite, and it’s rumored that Boris is quite good at decorating them.

Good evening all. A lot of nice shaves and mmmm banana bread!!
Two pass shave with touch up. DFS. The alum was just a bit more noticeable with this shave but not bad at all. The Astra was a bit tuggy, she's done. I'm enjoying the scents and performance of the B&M soaps. I always whip up way too much, I need plenty to get up my nose and in my ears.

Thursday shave:

This brush was made Jason and he filled it with a Omega Pro knot. I have been breaking it in and today was it's first use for a shave. The Tabac resfuses to die and seems to be regenerating despite my heavy loading. The J West is a shorty but a heavy grind so it has some weight to it. Four passes and a nice blood free, irritation free shave.

@NCoxSTL , just when things start going well, someone creates a new revolution and starts causing trouble. The Cartel is aware and all baked goods imports to Florida have been halted.

 

I'll send Natalia with Ivan to "discuss" the issue with our errant comrade. Good work to you. You have proven your loyalty to the Cartel.
