    Thank you

It’s been in the den for a few months, piecked it up used for a good price. I’ve been under control lately, no purchases but sent a couple of razors out for new shoes. I have been contemplating buying a new Koraat to try his double bellied hollow or maybe a second M. Martinez. I’m going to do a small den clean up too.

I always love grabbing this one. I would highly recommend this one for a beginner. The round tip and 6/8 blade, coupled with the thumb notch And shoulderless heel make for one of the most maneuverable razors I own. The heft and balance are perfect. The blade profile also makes it a breeze to strop. It’s also definitely a looker. So why doesn’t everyone have one in their den :signs002:

I call this razor, 'J West', it is of Japanese origin and western grind. I do not know the maker and I picked it up for a very reasonable price. It is 1/2 to 3/4 grind so even though it is a shorty is has a nice heft. The razor shaves so nice I had Glenn put new shoes on it.

Seeing some Filly’s lately inspired me to break out mine this morning. I was rewarded with a super efficient 2 pass shave with minimal touch-ups. Still face-rubbing late into the evening. :D

Razors look good gentlemen, I was lazy today , used the same razor as yesterday. Generally I used the same razor two days in row. I do a few custom made ones coming soon, excited to try them out.

I was wondering if that time was getting close. :signs002:
Any specific Koraat blade design you are considering?

I have 2 Koraats, 3/4 and 1/3 hollow 7/8 blades. I am very curious to try their bevelled hollow grind.

Is that a doubled or single shoulder beveled hollow? Is their new 'Model 14"?

I had a 7/8 full hollow TI, a beautiful razor, but it had to much blade flex for me. I am curious how your razor compares to other full hollow grinds you use? I am very tempted to go for a 7/8 but I am worried about the blade flex.

Good morning. It's an earlier model beveled hollow. It doesn't seem to flex any more than my non-beveled full hollows.

I have a custom Koraat being made now, should be a few weeks before I receive it.

A couple of weeks ago I did a build along in the brush section. It was a Shavemac DO1 silver tip flat top knot. It might be back a page or 2 by now. I'll take a few pictures and post them.
