Holy cow...I have no clue why people tolerate the cold. :)

It was 50 or so and windy in NC today. Actually got out to play golf this afternoon and like to froze.

I hope the power comes back on soon....but don't you guys have whole house generators?

Danielle got the scholarship she “NEEDED” to attend her first choice school, but it means a few more Best Western shaves for Dad. I feel your pain.

I miss @Douglas Carey and his photos. I think I missed a string of posts a day or so ago. I'm hoping he was in there somewhere.

Sending some positive mojo up north, friend. I hope all is well.

Take what you read on the internet with a grain of salt, including this thread especially, () but a less sharp/aggressive/milder blade is the worst thing that ever happened to my neck.

Hey, I gotta do something to keep that bloom down! If it spreads any more it'll block out the light and I'll be the first to try the flashlight trick.

Very kind of you. Thank you very much. If I ever get warm again I'll take some pictures outside in a few months.

You can dial it down, or dial it up......in the end it's the angle and pressure control that will make the real difference. Technique.

In a hurry this morning so I went for my 2011 R41, everything felt right and then a lapse of concentration and overconfidence, I set the razor down wrong and gave myself a small cut. This denied me an epic shave.

    Shave 6 of 30

So I skipped shaving last night. Got home late and my eye was bothering me, and I figured those two with a sharp blade wasn't going to be good for my face. So currently I'm 2 days behind.

I loaded a fresh blade, and got a bit worried because the sticky residue from the paper made closing the shavette a bit hard, and the blade shifted. Luckily I noticed it. I've found that for the chin and under the nose, I'm holding it like a kamisori? Not sure how you'd call it, but it appears to work. I did the shave 98% with the shavette, with only a single nick. In fact I cut myself more with the E3, which I resorted to using when I had a few patches the shavette just didn't seem to be able to handle. The alum wasn't bad, sang mainly on the neck and jaw, but overall it got the job done.
