Yesterday I was considering riding the Polsilver until it no longer performed. Well today during its 7th performance I nicked a spot on my chin. I will now, unfairly, blame the blade and change over to a Nacet for tomorrow's shave. Still got a DFS out of it and in all honesty the nick was my fault, not the blade. Hadn't drawn blood in ages. Got a tad careless this AM.

    Soap: ARKO (mashed in mug)
    Mug: 60's era Old Spice
    Brush: Semogue 620
    Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant
    Blade: Polsilver Iridium Super (7)
    Aftershave: Pinaud VIBR

Prep: Warm Shower-Maggard London Barbershop Soap
    Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch
Razor: Gillette “Black Beauty” Super Adjustable
Blade: Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless (Shave #7)
    Brush: oscar11/TGN High Mountain White-22mmx48mm

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Haslinger Schafmilch today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11/TGN High Mountain White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Black Beauty. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Classic Fougere aftershave.

    Razor: RR Hawk
    Blade: Kia Titan Mild (2)
    Preshave: Homemade
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Lather: Proraso Green
    AS: Aqua Velva/Afta
    Newspaper Date: Jan. 6,1945

Very Fine 2 passes, WTG/ATG with clean ups. The "Hawk" is smooth, clean and close. One little owie right on top of my `Adam`s apple`, cold water took care of that. All in all, almost as good as my floating head razor. I enjoy living with BBS shaves. I`m a Happy Camper enjoying the heck out of growing `Old`. People open doors for me, reach up to the top shelf for the Wheaties and a lot more signs of respect, just a little peek ahead for you. Makes all those little off and on pains seem insignificant. Love you all and God bless. Happy shaving, have a nice weekend.

Probak and Cooper Monobilt for beard and head shave respectively. I had planned on using the Probak/Wilkinson all the way but the Wilkinson felt tired. Popped the blade in the Monobilt just to compare but it was done. Fresh Bic in the Monobilt felt great. I'll be sorry when the Coates runs out.[IMG]

Gillette New LC/Scotch & Stowe Handle
Gillette 7 o'Clock Super Platinum Blade
    Frank Shaving Badger Brush
    TOBS Cedarwood Shave Cream
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum After Shave

Today I used two products I received from @Sparrow, TOBS Cedarwood and 7 o'clock black blade. The TOBS performed great with a thick and rich lather, while the blade worked fine. Two passes with a little touch up for a very smooth BBS shave.

Thanks for the imput Steve! The PAA Slant does look like a nice design. Should have grabbed one since I'm waiting on a order from them (Sangre DE Drago deodorant, and Porthos shampoo bar).

Have noticed you use the PAA shampoo bar, what are your thoughts? The ingredient list Looks unusual, but am curious how the Porthos scent compacts to the original Arymis which is wonderful.

Great to hear you are enjoying the "golden years" Bill! Getting old is not all its cracked up to be, but respect is something that seems to be dissappearing from society unfortunately.

Seeing the old papers reminds me of simpler, more positive times. It would be great to have a time machine.
