*DONE* PIF: Gillette Old Type w/Case

    *PIF CLOSED*

    1920's ball-end Gillette Old Type open comb, with case and blade bank.

    Razor is in excellent condition, no bent teeth and great gold plating still. Brass rod and marine epoxy added to the handle for weight and repair. Great shaver, I just don't use it anymore.

    **EDIT**
    Had a few questions on the brass rod and epoxy. Due to a crack in the handle, the pressed-in threaded section would rotate when the head was screwed on to it. To fix this, and add a bit of heft to the razor, I slathered a brass screw (head cut off) in marine-grade epoxy and inserted it into the hollow handle. Allowed to dry and the threaded insert and ball-end are firmly in place, going nowhere. Common problem, and fix, for Old Types

    PIF will close on Friday, 16 March. No prerequisites, just ensure this one gets used and loved.
