The Williams does not lather. It does have a nice scent and works well for what it is made for. I used a lather catcher today and got a nice shave. Here is a link to my post on the cream and video across the street. http://theoriginalsafety2.com/thread/2791/vintage-williams-brushless-shave-cream
@wchnu - if I'd realized people here were going to buy them just for the shaving cream, I would have split the cost with someone for the razor. Oh well, the cream will go somewhere (no, I won't use it in my feet, unless I'm shaving my hobbit fur off).
I thought the Williams was awful. But I'll gladly take your razors. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Thanks, no wouldn't want to deprive another who missed out. Would make a nice part of a PIF. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I'm tempted to order one, as this one has a different razor than the first. However, for $8, I can't justify a plastic razor.
Has anyone tested the head if it was bakelite? It sounds like bakelite when tapped, but I'm no expert.
No expert either but rub it vigorously and it definitely has that chemical smell as Bakelite is supposed to. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Well as funny as it may sound, but just had my first shave with it and I'm vey pleased with it. Will I modify it of course. I plan on throwing on a Gillette copper cap (always have those hanging around) and a better handle. It was fun and a great shave.
