Really? Honestly I've always grown up with my mom buying avon from a rep in her office and there is an avon rep in my office. Never heard anything bad. *shrug*

    haha :D

You guys slowed down last night.. I was able to catch up fast.

Well in honor of Shep's AS poll I used the good ole AV this morning. Broke out the Williams soap, and of all things a shick Injector. All you die hard cartridge guys should try one. To me it is about the same kinda shave. I will be back with my 90 y/o tomorrow.

Kinda cool here this morning, gotta love it. Made a big pot of Beef stew and some cornbread last night for super. Everyone who kicked in for the "get fuzzy some internet at home" fund will get a sample of it. Oh that means NOONE will get it. :D

Hope the folks that had a less then great day yesterday will do a lot better today.

Wild Country really is not a bad cologne, and I am a cologne junky. It has great sillage and staying power, along with a complex powdery/spicey scent. And ckicks dig it too!!

Denver is a nice spot, even for a city.

    Mmmmmmmmmmmm..............................Chocolate.

    Taint' is never bad................

I have noted that no one around these parts ever mentions Stetson. Interesting omission. I have some back home In MS that I am going to pick up the next time I am there. The Bunny likey the Stetson.

ALot of these "Drugstore" colognes became that way because they were in such high demand. Colognes like Old Spice, Brut, Stetson, Aspen, ect are time tested fragrances.

You know, before this thread came along, my Unread Posts would be like, 35, maybe 50 or 60 tops. Now it's always well over 100, and if I'm off for any amount of time it's well over 200! Good grief Charlie Brown!

My day's starting out ok, except I'm coming down with a cold and it took me 4 attempts to type out except.....

Now I've got to go unsubscribe from this thread so my inbox doesn't get hammered with "Reply to Thread" emails.

Stetson reminds me of a maintenance guy I knew that wore half the bottle each day. Bad memories destroyed that one for me. English Leather on the other hand is nice:) Aspen smells very similiar to Creed Green Irish Tweed for a fraction of the cost.

Kinda like a school gal sleepover.

Sorry to hear about the cold.. I have so far missed that this year. Hope my flu shot holds out . Hope the day goes well out that way.

Rolls I agree with what you said about the time tested thing. And i might add you have seen a lot of that time.:D

Hey Fatboy good to see you. I have worn Aspen as well. Been awhile, I might have to break it out again here soon. Not much on English Leather, but it is about time to revisit it also. I find that scents I do not like today are the ones I like later on. Guess I am just Special that way.

Well, I got my beans on. Nothing like a big crock pot full of beans with a few ham hocks on a cold day like today. I will probably bake a pan of cornbread too and get Jason and the family over here this evening for supper.

Truckman, this is the way this thread will be...and it's only getting started. It's more like a chat room, except the you don't lose previous conversations when you close for the night....

Rolls & Calvin...what time is supper!

    Jen....Heeeelllllooooo, Nurse!

Shep, hurry up, and don't you know pushups are far superior to bench press?

Rolls, I saw something yesterday that reminded me of you...I'm going to try and take a pic and post it later; don't be offended, it's not the object that brought you to mind, it's the lettering on the object....

other than that, it's gonna be a busy day...I'll be surprised if I get more than 80 posts in, it'll be that busy :ashamed001 :happy102

Edit: Fuzzy, things aren't bad, you've been brought up several times across the street...I've done my best to defend you, you know, keep telling about how you keep getting chased by a bald chubby fellow, keep jumping in holes, running from witches, coyotes, vultures, cowboys, and Gossamer....

I am still having issues with slowness so I will try to post here and there if it lets me.

Jim, right now I am work and no one else is here so I don't think it is my internet or bandwidth. Also I can go next door and it is fast. Is there anything else you can think of that would be slowing me down? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Ummmm..... Okay Jim.

Yeah, I tried using IE on here earlier and it was a no go situation.
