A double dose of cuteness to start my weekend.

 

Saturday shave:

Returned home yesterday so looking forward to a nice straight razor shave. The Castle Forbes went on the road with me and I thought it would perish during the journey but no, it survived to return home with me. So I today I used and aircraft carrier class brush, Simpon Polo 12 and the aircraft carrier dry dock in an attempt to finish this soap in the next week.

Since I was feeling focused and had plenty of time I selected the vampire razor, Robert Williams Purist. If it does not get me with it's fangs then it can deliver a superb shave. Today I was focused and the vampire drew zero blood and delivered an epic shave.

When I made to move to straights, I pretty much sold all of my DE’s, or at least my expensive ones. My son took my Rockwell 6S, one of the two best DE’s I have ever shaved with. I have been keeping my eyes open, and found a 6C on a BST, at a very fair price. Definitely the same great shave, and I am not storing an expensive razor.

So since it is Friday, and kid pic sharing day: My daughter is really big into show choir. Their competition season is finished, but they have two last fundraising performances this weekend, and this is her last year. I wasn’t home tonight in time to catch the show, but tomorrow is the last time I’ll get to see her dance. This was their best year in the school’s 23 year history, taking Grand Champion at every performance, across three states, but one, where they lost by one point. She is their dance captain, so when she looks back on things, she can think of herself as the Al Bundy of show choir.

I will be back at it tomorrow. Going to turn a big ole Omega boar loose on it.

 

Just awesome, Jared. You must be very proud of your Daughter! Have fun seeing her dance tomorrow. You are building some great memories!

That is pretty cool. I've never scene show choir before. Do you have a video?

 

BTW, I actually have stubble tonight. I didn't get home until after 1:00am last night and decided to forego shaving this morning. I think I'll toss a new blade in the pain stick I. The morning and see if I can mow this down without blood

Two passes, no good, no weepers, slight warmth on the aftershave splash but not a Home Alone moment or anything.

Any MMOC shave with no blood has to be a good one, right?

I've been trying to catch up on this thread.... I lost track of how many pages I've gone through since I last posted a week ago. I was 667 postings behind! I'm still 359 postings behind. I've got other things to do.... e.g. sleep. Of course the inspired shaves have continued.
