I am just happy to share the boredom.

 

Good evening Shep, burnWood and all TSDers. Just got done having 'picnic' night as my 4 year old son likes to call it.

Shep, got the package with my new slant so as soon as the TSD stuff shows up I will be mailing you a package. John at shaving essentials gave me the hook up with free samples. I got some Eton College and TOBS Lavender samples so I will try those. Do you want to try the St. James I got.

 

You bet, shoot me some of the St. James too. If I like it there's another 14 bucks down the tube...or is it tub? I think you'll really like that EC. I love how it smells and shaves.

 

I wanted to try the lavender too so I am stoked he sent me a sample of that too. You said you didn't use balms, correct. He sent me 3 1oz samples of the Wesley & Scott balms too. If you want to try one let me know. I think I am going to throw them in my travel bag because they are the perfect size.

 

Criminy I cannot stand the smell of Lavender shave products. In my baby's nighttime soap? fine. In shaving or face soap, :sick007

 

My wife says the same thing about lavender. This stuff isn't too strong though. Ray, are you a soap or cream guy?

 

Naw, you keep 'em. I'm not a big balm guy. A splash of witch hazel and a splash of AS suits me fine. I've never used a lavender product but lots of guys talk about having a sensitivity to it so you might want to take it easy on the first go around.

How's those splashes working out that I sent you? Which have you used and how did you like them?

They don't have the guy who blows his tongue at you over here so he's my new go-to smiley.

I have already used up the Speick, Thayers and about half of the Aubrey. I really like them all but I am impressed mostly with the speick and thayers. I can't believe witch hazel makes that big of a difference.
