'evening Tracy. Well, I was hoping to beat my cold today because we're supposed to go to Hershey Park tomorrow. That didn't happen, and I know riding rides and being out in the 30-some-odd degree weather isn't going to help. Other than that, no plans....

 

Yeah, coming from the east coast I used to say the same thing, "Where's the seasons? Where's the color? It's too flat!" Until I left and came back to the east coast. I actually felt a bit clostrophobic when we first moved back because I couldn't see down the road for miles on end - they curve and twist with hills and trees......But once it came time to leave, I had learned to love it in my short time there and vowed to return. I don't know if it will be to the Valley, though. Maybe Tucson, Prescott, Verde Valley, or something. Thing is, I don't dig the snow and cold that much....but PHX is getting way too big for my tastes. Maybe Wickenburg....hmmm.....

 

Finally home. What a long day. My bike tire popped on my way around the city today.

Managed to shirk off my other responsibilities for an hour to get a new tube. Picked up a patch kit, too. For some reason, I don't have one. Now I do. Hooray.

Jen, Shawn - I was supposed to get your stuff out in the mail today, but because of bike issues, will not be getting them out until tomorrow.

Shep, no we don't have a Walmart etc. We only have 7,000 people here man. This is God's country. Do you know that there are more people in the city of Phoenix than in the entire state of Wyoming. Sheridan, 30 miles away, has a Walmart but I don't think I will go just for some containers. I find something here in town. I ares smurty un stuffs lykes thats.

 

Yeah, going with the wife and kids (7 and 11 y/o girls), and a family friend. They have Christmas decorations up, lights, and some rides open. It should be an OK time, I just hope I'm feeling more up to it tomorrow.

I drove through Buffalo once back in the day. Prisoner transport to your state penn in Rawlings. Now there is some God awful country down there. Ever been? A perfect place for a pennitentiary if ever there was one.

Never been to Rawlins. When my wife and moved out here, she is from here originally, we talked about it because I worked in the NE State Pen for 3 years. I brought it up and the wife put a stop to it. After living here and hearing everyone talk about Rawlins I am glad I didn't go there. I love the fact that in Buffalo I can drive for 20 minute and be deep in the Big Horn Mountains.

 

Yep. I stopped and did some fly fishing in the Big Horns. Nice country.

I usually cut my hair no more than once or twice a year. When I cut my hair last year, I was one inch away from being able to donate my hair to Locks of Love.

Best bet might be to go to a pharmacy and pick up some pill holders. That's what I've been doing while I wait for my next shipment of sample containers from www.specialtybottle.com

I'm glad the issue is fixed too. It was a fun trip. While I was out getting a new tube, I picked up some epoxy from the hardware store as well. People looked at me like I was crazy. Yup. A slightly pissed off guy with long hair and a goatee carrying a bike tire at night. Good times.

I'm having trouble with this avon stuff, I set up my website but I have no idea how to check invoices or what the hell I need to do with them. Or where order money goes... or anything like that. Meh, I have some silly online courses to do. There are some damn good deals though, I just put in an order for myself. I got 5 full sized 4.5oz hand creams in different scents at 99 cents each.

 

Fly fishing. Now that's something I want to learn. I used to do salt water fishing back in the day. Since I moved to Boston, though, I haven't fished. I need to find somewhere to go fishing up here.
