My day; A LOOOONG walk in the woods with the dawgs!

I guess a few deer got killed, I heard the hunters shooting all around me and they were unpleasantly close!

Johan, just curious, what kind of deer do you guys hunt around your part of the globe? Are they the fabled Black Tails?

Since I'm not a hunter myself (yet at least) I'm not really sure, but I know the main deer is the roe deer... That's what the people we have hunting on our land bring us every now and then ;) Makes good jerky! :p

I will have to look this up. Curious Rolls, I am!! Also, why do not hunt, yet? How are the gun laws over there anyway?

Johan are those labradors? I have a hunt scheduled tomorrow morning for pheasants and I get to try out my 7 month old lab puppy.

The gun laws are very restrictive, as are the knife laws as well. I have this issue with killing stuff, not very keen on it.. And the thought of gutting a deer does not appeal to me. I will learn though, I believe it's important to be be responsible for the food you eat. And eating meat includes killing animals, and if I am to eat it, I have to come to terms with the killing too.

Morning everybody, I've been up since 6 and I'm still at work right now. I'll catch up on everything I missed when I get home. How's everybody today?

Oh no! They are rottweilers! Tasha and Lewis:

I have trained Tasha to be a Search and Rescue Dog (Lewis started training, but my wife didn't have the time to complete it, she travels a lot in her work. But he's a very good search dog, even though he didn't complete the training!)

bummer. I never win either. Do you put lights up outside? we use to but my mom gets crazy when my dad goes on the roof so now we just stuff the whole damn house full of christmas stuff.

Web lights all over the bushes, icicle lights in the roof, and we still have to decorate the tree. I live in the south so I dont know why we cant leave the lights up all year? Isnt that the stereotype? I dont see a problem with it:happy102

Johan, nice looking rots. That is awesome that you do that with your dogs. Dogs certainly make the world better, IMO.

aw don't do that. I HATE when people do that. My house has an ornament collection that could easily cover a 2 story tall Christmas tree. However we fill every last branch of our little 8 foot (or is it 9) with them every year. it takes forever.

BTW, get to try out my new barber pole slant later today.

That's a pretty nifty link JoAnnA. Thanks for that.

Today is shopping day. Gonna look for some Calgon and a flash memory stick for starters. Then it's off to Trader Joes to see what kind of WH they carry. Aside from those shave related items we'll just be picking up minor stuff...like food.

Tracy living in those small communities is nice, but when it comes to buying stuff they can be a real pain. I know. Growing up in Sturgis the only thing resembling a box discount store was Pamida which didn't carry much. Whenever you wanted something you had to drive to Rapid. You get used to it and eventually driving 30 miles for a pair of shoes is normal. Then one day you move to the big city and realize the value of convenience...with the trade off being losing the charm of the small town.

Johan the pic of the walk in the woods looks fantastic. Picture postcard beautiful. I'd love to get to Scandinavia someday. Lots of places I'd like to go someday.

A bit late here, but you all saw where OJ got 15 years right. Karma can be a cold, icy b!tch can't she?

    All right shavers. Happy Saturday!

They are awesome people to deal with. Don't bother asking them if they sell less than 50 or 100 or whatever the amounts they have listed on their site. They won't. They're a small business, run by a nice couple, and they pre-sort the containers by amount. For effiency and quickness no doubt.

But the shipping is quick. I just ordered more soap tubs from them, on the 4th and received the package today. They are fast! :happy096

I wish I could rave about all my other suppliers so much. There's a few great, awesome suppliers, but not many.

Also, I'm the queen of links. ;)

Ok so I found the perfect sample containers.

I told my wife that I needed to hit some local stores to look for some sample containers and she informed me of the best thing to use. She is a special education teacher at the elementary school here in town. So we ran up to her classroom and I found the motherload of container. Empty playdough containers. Perfect size and nice tight lids.

Shep and Dom don't laugh when your stuff comes in the mail with pink, green or blue lids.
