    Razor: Gillette Guard
    Blade:Guard Single edge cart. (10)
    Lather: Gillette Foamy
    AS: Afta
    Paper Date: Sept. 10,1943

Nice, simple 2 pass, WTG/ ATG, XTG. The 1st pass was without incident, smooth as silk and felt good. The 2nd pass was a light, thin layer for a clean up. Worked fine. This being the 10th shave on this blade, made it a little dull, it never pulled or irritated my skin, but I will cut the no. of shaves per blade back to 8, that`s plenty and great shaves. My meds quit on me about half way through the 2nd pass, (clean up). so I concentrated on my flat cheek areas until I felt the meds kick in again, then finished with a cold water rinse and Afta AS. God Bless and great shaves for all.

  5. Gibbs №16, a razor I've come to prefer over the Adjustable. There's nothing in the geometry of the Adjustable that would contribute to a superior shave and the №16 has way better handling. Both sides of the differential head are eminently usable, providing all the adjustment I need. BIC (3). [IMG]

  13. Wonderful shave using my gillet new long comb. Pre shave was a hot towel and some DB oil. Got to take the freshly restored Ever-Ready for a spin on some Praraso soap. Lathered like a dream. Then finished up with some Pinaud's.[IMG][IMG]

It's my first use of a Cold River soap and I'm impressed.
Lovely performance and the scent is my cup of tea with a slice of cake on the side.
Finished off with more Bergamot and creamy Vanilla, thanks to the wonderful Bart's Balm.
    Shave of the week!
    Happy Shaving one and all.
  15. The stubble snuck up on me again and I decided to put the three days of beard up against the Schick E1. Even with a blade on it’s fifth use, it came through with a superb shave. Closer and smoother than an E2, it’s a shave that’s hard to beat. :happy036:
