I will echo this. It is in my top three scents, from any maker. I am horrible at describing scents also, but I would say that while it has some pine to it, there is much more. It is more woodsy in general. It also has an earthiness, and a bit of smokiness. It is a powerful scent that easily fills the room.

Fitting day for a full face freeze off here in the Middle Atlantic early spring snow storm.

    My first use with Glacials......
    Glacial Lemon Chill soap
    Unscented Glacial AS Balm
    Glacial Lemon Chill After Shave.

More rushed than usual this morning. Stirling Soap performed like usual, Awesome! Went for a fast and friendly no fail, EJDE89, brand new Derby, 2 quick WTG passes, out for the snow drive with time to spare.
I did not get the intense cold or watering of the eyes that I have heard described, but a nice menthol sensation. Love the lemon scent, fresh, light, clean. A must try flavor IMO, made my team .
I usually use Proraso menthol AS balm, testing for options. I think Stirling Glacial balm is a small kick up on the menthol sensation. Seems a little slower on the drydown, comfortable.
I like the AS. Did not expect the nice lemon scent to endure, and if it did, I did not notice.

Be test driving my new toy next shave. It is recommended to use a thinner soap to avoid clogging. I think the slickness of one of my new flavors will be up to it.
    Good day my friends.

Used Executive Man for my first ride with the Focus Dynamic. I was gonna go with the 'full set' but decided I should stick with my normal aftershave routine to avoid tainting my new tooling evaluation. I did use the Executive Man bath soap. Both soaps scream more. If anyone wants to follow the razor tests go into the forum safety razors folder under (Focus Dynamic 1/2 DE Single Edge Razor!).
I wanted a sloshy lather that still protects...........Stirling is the only soap I've got that is up for that call. Flawless performance! There should be no doubt!
Tomorrow, I'm gonna try one of my new flavors that the Lovely Mrs Headroom was not crazy about. She is away for a few days, so my need to impress anyone doesn't exist.
    Good Day my friends.

A combo of all of them? This writer would like to get your reaction to that! (2 drops of Xecutive Man, 3 of Sandpiper, 2 of Spice, 4 of Coniferous...mix it all in..:))

Mine will be Spice, but in a couple weeks. I THINK it will still be cool temps around here, thus comfortable for Spice.

I just did a headshave with the Stirling Spice. The lather was made with my Stirling Tuxedo, and boy was it some slick protective lather. I shaved with my Braun Series -7. I enjoyed a smooth irritation free shave. After a nice warm shower I put on some P&G Old Spice Classic AS.

I got the Stirling Sandpiper aftershave a while back. I liked it right away, more each time I used it. This week I got the Sandpiper soap. Excellent Stirling performance as expected. Now I REALLY like the scent. Sandpiper has earned a permanent place in my rotation.

As you know, I have the A.S.. I am not above purchasing it again, along with the matching soap, for 2019. The scent just jumped out at me when I ordered my first A.S. Sample set(and that included Xecutive Man and Sharp Dressed Man). But I'll finalize my Stoylin decision as we get close to the Times Square ball drop.

I bought a tub based on all the positive reviews, but still haven’t dipped into it yet. As summer approaches I think it will be a more appealing scent. It’s light and clean, and could become an everyday scent. Especially for guys working in an office setting that don’t want to be “that guy.”

One of the greatest things about Stirling to me, is the affordable sample sizes of all the flavors. If you get something that just doesn't make the cut, you could just give it the toss. In my case, you are going to have a hard time finding any in my trash, a soap that doesn't perform maybe, but not
    Stirling.
As I said yesterday, since the Lovely Mrs Headroom is visiting relatives, I wanted to test a few of mine that didn't ring the high notes on the preliminary.
First up Gatlinburg. Please, forgive me my good friends, but hearing something like "if you are going to shave with this, you might as well lick the ashtrays too", was difficult. The soap gave a flawless performance, as always, and it really didn't smell bad, but I can see why that comment was made. There are some other scents going on in there, but I have no idea how to describe them. It only took a nice splash of Clubman to protect me from those who may want to accuse me of renewing my smoking hobby.
The bad news, this is not going to see a reorder.
The good news, look at all the flavors left.
    Good day my friends.

I like the samples too, and if they don't make the cut they become hand soap in the kitchen.
