Ok. I'm back and posting this using the FF mobile web browser. It installed on the flash drive pretty easily. Only took up about 50Mb which is a small fraction of this sticks memory. It seems that cookies, settings, bookmarks and so on will have to be set for this browser though. There is a touch of lag time as opposed to the FF browser located on this computers hard drive, but nothing to get in a twist about. This is a pretty cool little gizmo. Thanks to Jim, JayKay and others for the suggestion. Tomorrow I'll use it on that other computer and we'll see if the problems with TSD aren't resolved. Oh yeah, dogs are cool. Mine is a Beagle/Shepherd mix. She's a big, beautiful chicken. Skitish about everything until she knows what's going on.
Well this week just went from bad to worse, I leave my studio to go wet some cloths down and when I return my computer is on the floor. It fell off my desk. I have had it for two years and in a month it has fallen twice, first time denting the corner so the metal is all warped and not the screen is bent (still working fine as far as I can see) but it has trouble closing properly. Damn it.
<awkward silence> Nobody wants to talk flash memory drives tonight huh? Guess I'm a thread killer. Gonna go eat supper now. Toodles.
flash memory? is that like reliving your criminal past? yay, i posted pics of me and little me in the what you look like thread.
Yep, I put up a pic of me and a cute young thang too. Man this place is deadsville tonight. Think I'll go eat some more.
The cool part of that pic of little me is his name is Grayson and he dressed up like Robin. Nerds will get that.
Wow! This is a long thread. I confess that I can't make much sense out of it. Is it just a "say what you want" thread? I don't want to be out of line.
Well... Just got back from Hershey Park. Let me tell you, riding rides in below freezing weather while it's snowing is just not my cuppa tea. My face looks like I spent the day on the beach without sunscreen, and my wife's looks even worse. But the kids had fun, and the park was done up all nice with decorations. I betcha my cold's gonna be 100X worse tomorrow...I can already feel the body aches a-comin'
Just got back from Disney World. It was cold there but the lines were gone and the decorated Disney was awesome to see.
Well, I confess that I was a bit bored when I came across this site and I am glad that I did. I hope to make it my new virtual home.
Close Labor Day. Open for 3 weekends in October for Halloween, then open Nov. 14th for Christmas in Candyland until Jan.1. Then they stay closed until late spring. This was my first time. I wish they'd have stayed closed.
Yes, you get to say what you want but as the new guy you have to buy the donuts. Well you firemen are tough so take a shot of Nyquil and buck up mister! Seriously hope it doesn't hit you too hard. I just got rid of the last of the junk from my first cold of the season. Took about 3 weeks to get rid of all it's effect. Colds suck. Make sure you go post an introduction in the Newbie thread. That'll get you in the running for a monthly drawing of goodies. If you win part of the deal is I get a cut. Let me know if we win.
Just on my way to do that. Finished catching up here real quick, taking my shot (or two ) of Nyquil and hitting the rack. G'nite all.
