Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick G5 injector
Brush: Ever Ready 100T restored badger
Soap: Country Club for Men Cahaba Blues
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave

Easy shave with a stellar combination. Love Cahaba Blues soap and was lucky to find another tin on BST recently. Then Kevin, the owner of Country Club, started making soaps and splashes again, so hopefully this soap will be around for a while. It's terrific.

I normally don't shave on Sundays but I'm out of town and have a chance to go hear the symphony this afternoon, so I needed to shave. The Mobile Symphony is performing Symphony No. 2 'Resurrection' buy Gustav Mahler, who is my favorite all-time composer. It was too good of an opportunity to miss.

    Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!

I might somewhere, but mine are pedestrian examples, tarnished with some plate loss but shave well once learned.... Most days, I am using the ClogPruf, but will use the OCMM when I want a change. I really don't notice much difference between the two razors. I didn't much care for the earlier SE razors when I tried them years ago, I don't really remember why though.

I was getting burnt out trying to figure which DE I was going to use. Once that was figured, then picking a blade. I said screw it, Im going to use micromatic for a year and not worry about it. 4 months in, it shaves as good as anything else.

If I come across a British made ER, I will have to get it at some point. I would like to give those a spin. I will also need to pick up a MMOC, as I now need to conquer the beast.

They're cheap to buy, but to get them shipped over here to the UK doubles the cost! :(:angry019:

    40's Super Speed
    Gillette Silver Blue (3)
    Yaqi Slivertip
    West of Olympia Grayscale
    Speick AS Splash
    Proraso Blue AS Balm

New week, on to a new razor. The Edwin Jagger DE89 got a bit of short week, because of illness, but in my opinion it lacked in efficiency, causing me to over shave tad.
First, shave with 40's Super Speed I picked up at an antique store went great, 3 pass BBS shave two little weepers. Love the razor, incredibly smooth and efficient. This one is definitely a keeper. Alum tingled all over, I don't think my face likes some of fragrance oils in the Grayscale, but not so bad I can't continue to use the soap. I dropped the Proraso pre-shave, didn't notice much difference. Super goop video, helped with the lather. Wasn't using enough product. Today, I decided to try my hand face lathering it went pretty well. Nice thick, slick lather. Have a great Sunday guys.

Groundhog Day. First pass - like buttah. Second pass - like betta but not buttah. Third pass - Like Beavis and Butthead. With the growth left after pass 1 and 2 and the awkwardness of trying to go E-W and W-E on my neck, I’m skeptical of the eventual possibility of bbs results. Wax on wax off.

B+M Latha Oceana marinated in Clubman VIBR
    Alum and Clubman VIBR

Finished the sample of Oceana today. Adding Clubman VIBR to it definitely improved the scent. Two passes to a DFS without any drama. A splash of the Clubman VIBR then finished the shave with a touch of the Islands to counteract the soggy snowfall we've been "enjoying" this weekend.

John 5 is widely known as the lead player for Zombie and Marilyn Manson. He is also one of the most technical and accurate guitarists alive. He also tours as "John 5 and the Creatures." Highly recommended.

It does have the lines of a Chubby 2. The handle is almost the same height but about 10% less diameter. The knot is 25mm /48 mm.
