Just got back from the Christmas parade. My son had a blast and the weather was great.

Good than we are doing our job. No rhyme or reason to this thread. Just talk about your day, what is going on, what you tried and like with shaving. We keep it polite even when poking fun at each other. Watch out for Shep though, sometimes he does bite. We took him to the vet the other day but the vet couldn't help him.

Haven't had time to post the daily SOTDs, so I was getting ready to post one in digest form to cover the whole week.

 

I am calling it a night shave fans. I have a early morning pheasant hunt tomorrow so I need to get my beauty sleep. I will catch you all tomorrow.

It is a drafting desk so it is at a angle. There is a lip at the bottom and it must have just been resting on it with out me seeing that.

 

I read through this thread the other day. You fellas are pretty funny. Even the chick is alright. My dad is a dork though, but we all love him.

Eagle, did you ever find that Calgon?

Maybe around Christmas I will get on here a little more. Between working two jobs, and having two small kids, I just do not have much time to play. ANy extra time gets spent in the shop, making brushes. Maybe I will sell some on here around Christmas.

Well, I have to go get my kids. Hopefully dad did not sell them yet!!

Good morning

Morning to all this cold as hell Sunday morning. Getting ready to finish decorating, making a batch of beer cheese soup, watching football all day, and probably drinking a few beers. My decision to try to finish off 1 SC fell through. I just cant seem to do it? I am thinking off locking the others up to force me to do it. I still dont understand how I used Edge Sensitive for 8 years straight? I must have had some serious issues.

 

I think we all go through it. Kind of like the guy who gets divorced after 20 years of marriage and ..... well, you get the idea :happy102

Football's in, beer's out today - I don't need any more dehydrating after this cold I've got...that soup sounds good - recipe?

hey everybody! I ended up hanging out with my friend steph last night who I will miss too much when I leave for buffalo. Anyway while we were having dinner it snowed a couple of inches, driving back to my house sucked and she ended up spending the night because it was so nasty out. At least the snow is pretty. We spent about an hour standing outside of barnes & noble catching snowflakes on our sleeves and looking at them.

I had the gemini tea with no sugar last night. It was real good. But I have so many questions. How much tea in the tea stick and how long do I steep it and how much water? Argh.

Things are always better with pics!

With my tea stick I just put it in the bag and scoop some out. Usually I get about this much in my tea stick, don't fill it up past the inner part, if you can run your finger along it and tea falls out you've got more tea then you need.





I tend to judge my steep time by color. This is about 45 seconds and it's black tea, I like weak tea so just leave it and keep tasting it until you've got what you like.



the reason you shouldn't completely fill your tea stick is that the tea expands a LOT. later I'll put up a pic of my other tea pot and show you just how big it gets once this tea stick runs out of infusions I'll do that.

 

thanks Jen. I was putting a little less actually. and I have to get a bag. The tea spills out of the little tin when I try to get at it. I can never tell the color since Jack's mug is black.
