I have been living the Gem SE life for the last four months, with my featherweight. I love the shaves I get with it. I switched up this last week to use my 1914 March 24 ER in Honor of the 104th anniversary. A lighter hand required, but a closed, longer lasting smooth face! Menthol Monday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave TSD Cool Lime Jayaruh #271 Rolls CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Florida Water I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The TSD Cool Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #271 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Rolls Razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Last Night's Citrus Sunday Shave: 3/25/2018 - I forgot about the 3/25 1914 Ever-Ready Patent Date - so I am a day late and a dollar short - but oh well - I love my 1914 - my favorite gem style razor - in fact I like it better than the 1912 and damaskeene. Happy Monday, Jamie!

I need to catch up on a few SOTDs first though a few new toys in the Den. A Schick F and parker synthetic brush along with a metal handle G3 set. Veddy nice. The F and brush are a gift. First shave with the F was outstanding. Used a homemade Williams stick, the B-400 by @twhite and Aqua Velva Musk. Veddy veddy nice. Todays shave was smooth as well. The Schick L with a personna blade was super!! The Musgo Real face lathered great with the Semogue 1305. Finished up with Aqua Velva Ice blue. BULLY!!!!!!!!

Tue 27th March RazoRock Syn.24mm Speick Active ATT SE1 + S/S Handle Schick Proline [ 14 ] Pitralon Original A/S Lotion From Light to Heavy, an N3 yesterday to the ATT SE1, which has a non stock handle. You either like heavier Razors or hate them. If you do not rush and let the weight work they work, as did this combo today. A really satisfying Shave with great results, a super close all round finish.
Those WWII era brass heads are a favorite of mine. I prefer the bakelite handle over the metal one. Not that it shaves better I just like the feel.i also have a couple with the heavy ornate handle that are great!!
