How about a quick tutorial on getting a super slick, super cushy and super amount of lather from Proraso. Load up your brush, dip the tip of the loaded brush in some water, then face lather. Instant explosion of lather and enough that I could have supplied lather to everybody on here for today's shave. Awesomely easy, slick, comfortable and effective.

Two passes and touch ups and the baby was in the house again and the alum was silent thanks to the Astra SP's awesomeness. This was the first Russian blade I ever tried and the first one I bought in bulk. Using it on my face instead of just my head reminds me of why I like it so much.

Planned shave... Didn't happen. I soaked my brush for the Cella, decided I would Omega Hi-Brush some Williams while I whipped up some Cella.... But that lather was so wet and slick Willy, I had to shave it off! I'll Cella tomorrow I think, but great 3 pass dolphin today!

Another excellent BBS shave and let me say that the Speick stick is wonderful stuff - it's been too long since I last used it. The Bull Dog moisturizer gave me such a soothed, comfortable post-shave sensation.

Tabac Tuesday's Shave

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #271 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Rolls Razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

So far, so good. These first two shaves have been excellent. I imagine that my experience with straights is part of the success with the Rolls. It delivers a very smooth and comfortable shave. After the clean up, I put the blade back in the stropper and gave it 30 cycles. It is ready for tomorrow.
