I got the Stirling Sandpiper aftershave a while back. I liked it right away, more each time I used it. This week I got the Sandpiper soap. Excellent Stirling performance as expected. Now I REALLY like the scent. Sandpiper has earned a permanent place in my rotation.
Yes, Sandpiper is a terrific scent! Based on Yves St Laurent Nuit de L'Homme, I believe. Regardless, it's fantastic!
I really enjoy Sandpiper! It is just so intoxicating. My wife is a little on the fence but I just can't stop wearing this one. Sometimes I but the AS on just to smell it.
I hope Doc Ezlovan liked the review I wrote on the Stoylin website, where I "stole" an adjective he used...sophisticated. What can I say, I felt as he described .
Bergamot Lavender,Sharp Dressed Man,Coniferous, Mountain Man, Scots Pine, Ozark Mountain .Executive Man. There are more but I can't remember them all. She also likes Ozark Mountain and Executive Man. I would say those are my top 3 plus Bergomot lavender. I like the eucalyptus mint soap, but not the aftershave. The soap.is great.its like proraso without the menthol but better. If I use that I use proraso splash. Haven't tried the polo blue which is Stirling blu. Polo Blue is one of my favorite cologne so I'm hoping it works out. My wife likes the Pharoah's Dreamscicle but it is way too sweet smelling for me. I can't stand it! I also got some orange chill which I have not tried. All of mine are soap/aftershave combos. Not just the aftershave
Sandpiper was my pick tonight. Light, clean, and unassuming. My wife gave it a passing grade too..............a huge step up from “what smells like mold?”
I'll cross THAT ONE off then. As good as Proraso sounds from what I've been reading, it shouldn't have a mildew-y shave cream.
I only have one solid soap/AS combo from Stirling-Spice. I have the Barbershop soap, but use it with Clubman Original AS. For warm/hot weather I have Glacial Wintergreen soap, but not the A.S.
