I think I've finally settled into a comfy routine after the big move and I'm feeling more relaxed brother. Time to break out the tools again!
Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: Black Anvil 26mm 2BF Soap: P&B Solaris Razor: Schick E2 (on loan @Blademonkey) Blade: Schick Proline B Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Floid Vigiroso Mentolado AS A very close shave from this great little razor. It's not your normal injector, one hundred percent concentration is required at all times but the reward is worth it and unlike other injectors the risk element makes it fun to use. Happy Shaving one and all.
Thanks! Yeah, part of the Spring launch, but it then decided to get cold today so I had to switch to the cozy Bay Rum scent. It's been months since I pulled out the Turquoise shave set. It was good to use that slant again.
B&M Cologne Russe seems like a pretty good match. The fact its based on a distinct vintage perfume scent does lend it self to that “old time” feel, more me at least. Both scents bring back memories of my grandparents, which is one of the reasons I continue to use them, even with a den full of software.
The Wednesday Shower Plan: If you've been reading my recent shower plans-no changes, BUT: Shampoo-Suave 4 Men 2 In 1 Ocean Charge(that is....shampoo and conditioner)

YESTERDAY'S SHAVE Prep: pre shave soap mix Razor: GEM G-Bar Blade: GEM Blue Star Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft Soap: Stirling Aqua DGO Post: Floid Black A/S Nice smooth shave yesterday. The Stirling soap made a thick protective lather and smells pretty close to the original cologne. Finished off with Floid Black which has a fruity scent and good longevity. Cheers. I normally use injectors when I need a quick shave, this one takes a bit more concentration but leaves the skin very smooth, pity it's a loaner.
