Well, I decided to give the Fields&Streams one more go. I actually had a real nice shave , but at the same time I can see that it is nearing its end. It's tricky when the soap borders the perimeter of the puck.

DC is on my "move outta here" list. I've lived there 3 times before. The Jefferson Memorial(great shot of Thomas J.)was my Dad's favorite of the tourist landmarks.

1965AE04-A535-4680-BFBF-BB6E37399A21.jpeg When I first got Jason’s bowl, I thought I might have made a mistake asking him to cut grooves in the bottom. Would soap get stuck in them? Would it be a bugger to clean? Well, not only NO and NO, but this thing generates thick lather in record time and has totally transformed every one of my soaps into rich, puffy, pillows. So, not only is it beautiful, it is a lather creating beast. Nice work @jtspartan! Today it is whipping up iced pineapple with an Elite Manchurian in Dad’s custom Amboyna handle. Assisted by my Delta Echo birth year Slim.

    Good Friday gentlemen!

A fine shave this morning. I did something different today, I skipped the touch up part of my shave. My touch up is a excessive. I would rinse after my xtg pass, touch up, rinse, feel another rough spot, lather, touch up. Probably do this a couple of times. Not today. Barely a whisper from the alum. My face doesn't feel as smooth, but looks the same, minus some redness on my neck. This is going to be the shave for me moving forward.

My last shave of the month, different everything for April but I'll carry on with the Feathers.

Above the Tie S1 slant, smooth efficient razor. One weeper for the month.
SOC boar, love this brush! It did lose two bristles for the month.
B&M Reserve soap, very enjoyable performance and scents.
B&M reserve aftershaves, left skin feeling good and great scents, although short lived.
Astra blade, great blade but didn't pair the best in the S1 for me.
Feather blade, worked great in the S1!
All the above is one man's opinion.

Good Friday and wonderful weekend to you all. [IMG]

Great photo. I have learned that my lower right neck is hard to get perfectly smooth. Most mornings I just accept this and move on. Sounds like you are finding something similar. Good job.

Used the shimmed 34c today... I wouldn't have said I noticed much difference... Until I finished shaving and had 3 weepers... Must have been closer! I still really struggle to get a clean looking shave under my chin without going ATG... The only issue is that going ATG really tears me up and causes awful irritation!

15224329996383.jpg Well March is almost over and I hate long good byes . Been a great experience and I'd have to say today's shave was the best of them all. The Copper Hat bay rum is finished, making room for a new soap in the old Wilkinson bowl. Did 3 passes today wtg, xtg and wtg... perfection. A big thank you to Chris for everything from the Luxor and blades to his encouragement and support during the month. See you in April!

@jluc, @jtface, @9nein9 -- good reports today. It's been fun watching all of you this month as you have been making wonderful progress even if you have sometime felt like you were standing still.

Andrew @Linuxguile -- looks like a great setup if you decide to use it today. And if you don’t, Logan could always decide to use it to shave his hat...

Another shave with the LC, this time with a fresh Nacet. Took inspiration from John @Screwtape and decided to mix a few soaps today. I like the performance of the Latha Sandalwood, but mainly get a scent of Currants from it. I like the scent of the Captain’s Choice Sandalwood, but haven’t been super fond of the lather. Though I would try half and half in the bowl and see what happens. I still get an overwhelming scent of Currants, to be honest. Nice lather, though.
Had a quick 2 pass shave and am getting ready to host the inlaws from out of town for the weekend. Just another smooth shave and no noise from the Alum. I took a photo with Stirling Barbershop in it, but then right after my shave changed my mind and went with the Booster. No real reason why.
Have a great Easter weekend all!
