Dr Jay ( @Jayaruh ) mentioned something in passing, about having a Schick Simplified Automatic Repeater Week for himself....

Capital Idea, I say.....LETS ALL HAVE A SCHICK REPEATER WEEK , I YOU HAVE ONE OR MORE AVAILABLE!

I say, "If you got one, smoke it"!!!!

    J....when are you gonna start!

    I'm starting today...and will continue, til J's week is completed.....maybe further...:shaver

Over on TOST I am in a Pass-Around with one of @twhite Bunny Razor. Here is the post for today.

    30 March

    Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
Brush: 24mm Silvertip Badge, Frank Shaving (FS)
Soap: Sharp Dressed Man, Sterling Soap Co
Razor: Bunny w/ "WILD" Plate, by twhite
    Blade: Chick Schick (4)
Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and PS, by Paul Sebastian

No work today so I was able to shave in the morning verses shaving the night before. I was able to take my time and enjoy the shave. I started by loading up the the big 24mm FS Silvertip with enough soap to shave today and tomorrow. But that's okay I enjoyed it. After lathering up I decided to try out the WILD Plate on the Bunny. Now keep in mind that I am a Fan Boy of The General razor by Colonial Razors. I always get a BBS shave from The General with out even trying to get a BBS shave. As long as the razor has a sharp blade it will produce a BBS shave. Todays shave may have replaced The General as my all time favorite razor. With one pass I had a BBS shave. Now I did a two pass shave just because I could and was enjoying the shave. I say may have replaced The General because come Monday I will have to send this fantastic razor on her way. I can assure you it will be missed greatly. The only downside with the Bunny is the need to rinse the razor more often but I am getting used to that.

If anyone has one of Tom's original Bunnies that is not getting much love any more I would be will to give it a new home with a proper re-homing fee.

The more I use this Razor the better it gets, I find it relatively mild but effective. I have found that it is so forgiving that if I want I can obtain an incredibly close all round finish without causing any irritation.Today probably one of my best ever Injector Shaves, and must rank No 1 as my best Injector confined to use of a single blade.

    Pre: Warm water face wash
    Brush: Shavemac TSR 2015 2B
    Soap: C.R. Salter Tallow
    Razor: Pal Golden
    Blade: Pal NOS
Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Vitamin E oil, Pashana AS

Well that NOS blade was rough, very tuggy and I couldn't face a second pass so reached for a Schick I1 with a twin blade.
My skin is smooth but not very comfortable.
    Have a great weekend.

Mark Cross/Kai Mild. I enjoy the shaves from the Mark Cross more than any of my Schick Injectors (even my F), perfect angle, nimble, beautiful triple silver plate, aggressive or mild as you wish. With apologies to ATT, Rocnel et Al, I will never be convinced that anything more than this is required of a single edge razor. [IMG]

Wonderful shave today. This is my first shave with this G1. Simply outstanding!! The Boots soap lathered great with the Semogue 1305!

Glad I chose the MWF today as the blade is beginning to wane,so I needed the protection it provided. Amazing how yesterday with the Type F and a blade on its 9th outing too, the Shave was really good.

After yesterday's uncomfortable experience I needed a smooth, fuss free shave.
Speick and Cobra - problem solved.
Finished off beautifully with Bart's Balm Rosemary & Sandalwood.
Have a great Easter one and all.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #271 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Safety Razor using a J.A. Henckels Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Interesting! so u can't find these in Japan brick and morter stores? I am fearin that the eBay sales are all old stock, hence the expensive price? we should email Schick japan. I also fear that American Razor Company in Virginia is no longer making the PAL Super Carbon SE gem blades. There also hard to find now for a normal price..

I can say the twin transforms a mild injector into a whisker lawn mower.... U will love em, and the Japan blades are just as good as the vintage blades.

    3.31.2018 Saturday Night Shave.....
PAL Injecto-Matic with a vintage NOS Personna electro-coated (Amazing blade, sharp smooth.. The cheaper alternative to the Tungsten steel 74 brother blade , my 2 cents that it is just as good as a 74 but lasts half as long)
