I gathered from your avatar, that at the very least, you are not opposed.

I was thinking about the "add menthol" option with the aftershaves. Has anyone "added menthol"?

Does it result in skin dryness or does it interfere with the main scent? Sorry for all the questions but I am about to place an order

I have bought many of his mentholated AS, and add my own crystals. I don’t think it hurts much in the dryness factor, and scent really isn’t affected too much, but on some of the lighter scents (Lime for example), if they are highly mentholated, the menthol overpowers for a little bit when you first put it on.

Try having him add menthol x 1. It won’t screw up the scent, and will give you a feel for it. You can always buy some crystals on Amazon and kick it up a notch.

Do you think 1 tsp of menthol crystals is a good amount to add to a Stirling bottle that has no menthol?

Start with 4-6 bigger ones, and try it. You can always add more, but you can’t take it back.

Can you imagine adding menthol to a Glacial witch hazel or aftershave? Lollllll

Personally I wouldn't do it.

I have a couple of the Ice or Chill splashes that I have added crystals too, and ended up bumping them past Glacial, but I have never tried a Glacial and wanted to add more to it.

I learned from comments by Doc Ezlovan, or someone here, or perhaps both, that the menthol the Doc adds is JUST ENOUGH to be comfortable, that is, no super-freeze. But I was asking about the Sandpiper which I had just ordered, not a Glacial.
