It's very tempting sitting there and I never learn, I've done it a few times.
Though someone sent me a couple of vintage Japanese Schicks and they were excellent.

Another brilliant soap from South Africa - this Cabin from RVT has a lovely scent which is a blend of cedar wood, juniper berry, and peppermint. It lathers absolutely great and I felt a slight cooling effect which was a nice bonus. This soap has very good post-shave care also. The Bull Dog moisturizer was so soothing after this good BBS shave!

    Enjoy the Easter weekend!

    Soap Commander Renewal
    Jayaruh #271
    Weck Sextoblade
    Personna
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Florida Water

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #271 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Weck Sextoblade Razor using a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave this morning with the Evahs fitted with a GSB. Amici is a low price point soap with high price point quality. Beautiful scent also. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺

11th shave with the Nacet and still going strong. A nice, easy, BBS shave this AM. Seems the Derby creams have identical lather characteristics. Lather is easy to whip up. Very slick. Good cushion. Nice post shave feel. The only weakness are the scents, which on the 3 varieties I've tried, are very muted and don't last long. But the performance is on a par with more expensive creams I've used.

    Cream: Derby Lemon
    Brush: Omega S10065 synthetic
    Bowl: Dollar Tree salsa
    Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant
    Blade: Gillette Nacet (11)
    Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve

I too really like IB Amici. Punches way above it's weight.

I know this isn't "The Shampoo Den", but I just did some calculating to find out that in the midst of my 6 straight days of Stoylin Aftershaves, I'll begin another 6-day set of Clubman Country Club Shampoo. You'll see what I'm talkinabout with my SOTD's.

I'm really loving this shaving cream. Super smooth and easy to make lather, and the post shave feel is among the best. Its also one of my favorite scents.

    Razor: Gillette Guard
Blade: Guard single edge cart. (5)
    Lather: Gillette Foamy
    AS: Afta
    Newspaper date: Nov. 7,1943

I had the best intentions of using my Gillette Tech this morning. Lathered up and picked up the razor and my tremors started pretty strong, so I had my `Guard` out just in case (shook all the way through). Amazingly the little plastic toy out performed itself in spades. One pass, ATG with a little XTG, a slurry on my neck only, for a clean up. A cold water rinse, topped off with Afta, and I`m good to go. A fantastic shave, God bless this Easter weekend.

    Bill
P.S. I`m dying to do a rotation with my regular razors.

    Sunday morning's planned shave:

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Astra day 7
    RVT Dark Lime SS

Does this Dark Lime soap ever smell nice - can't wait to see how it lathers and performs!

Prep: hot shower with conditioner to my face

    Bowl: Crown king

    Cream: Speick

    Razor: Lord L6

    Blade: Astra SP

    Brush: Semouge 2012 OC SE

Post: witch hazel and Speick aftershave

    Lotion: Gillette aftershave lotion

    Cologne: Speick

Finished up the last of the Speick cream. Have a Speick soap stick to try next when I feel the need to shave with Speick again. Got a great shave with the Speick AS and cologne. This combo is one of my favorites for wet shaving.

Nothing fancy for Easter, same animal as today. I will say it's more of a struggle for me to "go sideways on the neck" with cream, not sure why that is. Maybe South-to-North is best afterall for Rise/Barbasol/Gillette Foamy. (still have some of the latter left-all set for the humidity).
