Very nice razor, it even looks like an excellent shaver.

    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Florida Water

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #271 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Weck Sextoblade Razor using a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This is why I stay away from kamisori’s as beautiful as they are the 2 different sides of the blade I find make for an awkward shave. Some how you have to figure out how to use the hollow ground side of the blade for your entire face. The wedge side is honed 10% compared to the 90% on the hollow. Where as western straights are honed 50/50.

Thank you, it hits all the things I like in razor, big, smiling, thumb notch, takes a great edge and looks cool.

I decided to go big today too, the Kent BLK12 is a wonderful brush isn't it?

Preshave: King of Shaves shaving oil
Razor : Dovo INOX En Vogue
    Brush: Omega 49
    Soap: Floris Elite
    A/S: Floris Elite

A lovely shave this morning. Two passes, WTG, XTG/ATG combination. The Floris soap is perfect for straight razor shaving; it lathers well, but not too thick and stays moist throughout the shave. The razor is possibly my favourite right now because it holds a killer edge and I can shave with a wet blade. I like the imitation Damascus and imitation wood!
