Bath Soap - Shulton Old Spice "Fresh Lime" (circa 1974)
Razor - Gillette Superspeed (circa 1947-1952) (Re-plated in Nickel Finish by Razor Emporium)
    Blade - BiC Chrome-Platinum *5th shave
Shave Brush - Declaration Grooming "Fatty" in custom green color
Shave Cream - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Fresh Lime"
Suribachi Lather Bowl handmade by Of the Dirt Pottery
Deodorant - Shulton Old Spice Lime (circa 1968-1975)
Talcum Powder - Shulton Old Spice Lime (circa 1967-1970)
Aftershave - Shulton Old Spice Lime (circa 1966-1976)
Fragrance - Shulton Old Spice Lime Cologne Splash (circa 1966-1976)

My newly assembled vintage Old Spice Lime shaving set. Aside from the completely amazing condition of these very old products, including a fully intact deodorant that doesn't look like it's lost anything to evaporation, I have a custom Suribachi Lather Bowl that was made by Of the Dirt Pottery.

    Edit......Adding lather bowl pics.......

3-passes. BBS. The lather might not 'look' as creamy/yogurt-like (although there is a 'slight touch' of creaminess to the look at the lather) when compared to Crown King or Catie's Bubbles, but the lather is plenty slick and protective from this cream. I'd score the Indian Old Spice Lime lather at an 8.5 out of 10 when compared to the best croaps/creams I've tried. And it gets the job done as good as you realistically want. The only reason it doesn't score a 9 or higher is because it lacks a bit of 'residual' slickness (ie, being able to put a drop of water on my hand and 'reactivating' the slickness enough to pass the razor over the area again). I've gotten better 'residual' slickness from a small handful of top-shelf products, but I cannot knock this cream's performance at all when shaving after direct application from the brush for each pass. 8.5 out of 10 is a score that I consider to be as good as you would expect a quality shaving product to be. Anything higher than 8.5 in my mind should be reserved for 'elite' creams and soaps that give you 'more' than you would expect from an already excellent product.

If you have a set of Old Spice Lime products (aftershave and/or cologne), then I recommend this shave cream. It's good, solid performing cream with a matching scent.

Hello friends, excellent three pass shave this morning with the Gillette Red Tip fitted with a GSB. TFS GINESTRA DI TAORMINA is an exceptional performer. Highly recommended. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

Tim, instead of having my straights just sitting there looking pretty in the den, I should at least try one now and then :)
