Good morning Clint! The blade gap is 0.38. It's a smooth razor and hopefully this month I'll be able to get some consistent results.

I have a Timeless SS OC with a 0.95mm blade gap that I really enjoy. The brass models are simply gorgeous.

The SS Timeless razors are beauties, at the very top of my wish list. There are just so many choices!

A wonderful shave for Easter morning and the start of April. The Doug Korn DK7 brush did a wonderful job lathering the Blu. The brush has very good backbone and face scrub with excellent flow through which makes it a face lathering dream come true. Three passes and touch ups left the baby in sight. With the time, I couldn't help myself and had to buff my lower neck to catch the little guy. Overall a truly excellent shave. A splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver and we off to my Mom's for Easter. I hope everyone has a Blessed Easter and a wonderful Sunday.

I'll be back for this month, and I am going to focus on the MMOC, which @sdguero kindly sent my way. This is the one razor I have had issues with, so I am going to get my technique down with it this month.

Here is the first shave with the new razor:

    April 1 SOTD:

    Razor: Gem MMOC
    Blade: Gem Stainless
    Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts Aurora
    Lather: Stirling San Antonio
    Aftershave: The Veg
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

I took my time and focused on keeping the angle right. This razor is definitely a bit more aggressive than my other SE razors. I did two passes and got a DFS with one or two little weepers. A cold water splash, and they closed right up. Just a touch of irritation, but not too bad. I would rate this a decent attempt, but definitely room for improvement.

Happy Easter to everyone, and I hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning and happy Sunday all!

Fabulous shave this morning. Close, comfortable and just a whisper from the alum on my neck. Light pressure and shallow angle. No redness on my neck. Three great shaves in 72 hours, gotta love it!

Something new to me this morning, pressing soap into my bowl. I normally load from the puck. I broke off what looked to me like an almond size piece. Easily whipped up enough slick lather for six passes. Went with Mountain Man per Neil's @NCoxSTL recommendation. I can see why it's one of his favorites.

    Great day to all![IMG]

    RyX DoH!

Glad you're hanging with The 30 DC. Themes are for variety. It's the Rule / Focus that's important.

Don't worry about what day it arrives. Your Focus starts when it does. With a number of us owning them, Ming Shi questions can be answered.

Welcome to The 30 Day Crew! I've got a couple of those to try out this month, too.

Focus, Rule...I can see Chris @Bama Samurai forsaking all others and enjoying Arko. Both it and Palmolive, and Tabac & a few others will distract me from keeping Focus on Stirling this month.

Isn't being odd is a prerequisite for Aristocracy. Old seems to part of the definition as well. I've got a '46-'47 Aristo with some gold wash worn away. It still shave like a champ and makes the rotation most every month.
