Oh I never heard that, granted I really could care less about the authors personal life. I never got in to Penny Arcade, I used to read VG cats and XKCD and still do time to time when bored. I also read manga for a little while.
personal life affects the way people make their comics, so his stupidity definitely caused his downfall. I like Penny Arcade, they make a good comic and they're good people. Manga is a little broad are we talking fruits basket or hellsing :happy102 edit: when I was really reading web comics I read about 15 of them on a regular basis. I should really start again, maybe in january.
in terms of manga I read Naruto, cowboy bebop, afro samari, doraimon and I used saiyuki to help me with my japanese reading.
Postal Frustrations OK, so I go to the post off yesterday (Sunday) and I see there isn't a line. Oh, BTW, the Post Office here is open on Sundays. Anyway, I'm excited because typically a visit to this Post Office (my only option) is always about a 45 minute endeavor. So, I grab the customs form I needed and filled out the mailing label (took me all of 20 seconds to do both) and then got in line. As I'm standing there I notice there are two people working and nine others just milling around. 90 minutes later I get to the counter and by now I'm fuming mad (remember there were only three people in line in front of me)! What a way for lazy bums to wreck my day off. Anyway, in the 90 minutes I was waiting in line I watched three of the women who weren't working talk to the one who was about getting a new R&B CD after work. I watched the same guy check two empty trash cans and ruffle around the empty bags about a dozen times and others were just BSing behind the counter. Talk about waste, our tax dollars paying useless bums to stand around and shoot the breeze. I was so angry. On the brighter side, I watched three episodes of Entourage Season 5 on my iPod Touch while I was in line. Sorry just needed to vent. We American's offer the worst customer service in the world and it only seems to get worse year after year! I can't wait to get home to Japan! :mad::mad:
I found a rinky dink PO in MA that was open from like 10-noon on Sat? Why even open? Sundays? Not in GA.....they first need to start selling beer on Sundays. The amount of tax revenues or state is losing is stupid. So now all of the folks need to drive home after getting smashed watching footballs games all day? I think I just hijacked my own post
Good morning, all. I see we have been discussing post offices. To be quite honest, my regular post office may be one of the busiest ones in Boston. They're open ridiculously late on weekdays and until 5 PM on Saturdays. They've always served me well, so I can't complain much about them. They're an efficient bunch over there. Can't say the same for the other post office that's near me (I've got two different post offices within a 15 minute radius of my place - they're in opposite directions).
Morning all. Shawn you need to move to WY, we gots more dang state money than we know what to do with. Beer on Sunday is no problem either. Heck, up until 3 years ago the passenger in a vehicle could drink while traveling.

Our post office isn't bad either. They don't go out of their way to stay open any longer than possible but they are pretty easy to get along with. Your stuff is going to ship today. I will take the package in at lunch.

I almost forgot, I had a bunch of weird bloody freaky dreams last night. I don't quite remember them anymore but I think I might have killed a bunch of people.
Yeah, its all fun and games until I pop a couple viagra................... WTF is a toque? Those are usually the most fun. So, I want to thank you guys who responded to the friend request. I used to have dreams like that a lot. Now I just get a recurring nightmare that has been happening less as I get older, but still pops up sometimes when I least expect it.
I'm not a big fan of violent dreams. This one was just freaky, I remember something about stabbing somebody and for whatever reason chase and 13 from house were with me... I must admit one time I had a zombie apocalypse dream, that was good stuff. edit: I think it also might have been in black and white except for the blood.
I planned on being with you kids yesterday. On the way to work I was in a pretty bad car accident. My Prius was T-boned on the passenger side. Lucky for me with my chronic back pain I already had all the pain killers and muscle relaxants the ER wanted me to get. I will be fine. Prius needs to be rebuilt. Baby got out of car 10 minutes before accident. I was actually happy at the scene. I am off to see my Dr. now. Hopefully get a rental car and be at work tomorrow.
last night I was chased by a family trying to kill me. no matter how far in the woods I got, someone was waiting for me. We must be linked on the violent dreams.
Woah... glad you're ok. Better the car than a life. Get yourself better and remember you can always replace material things. You can never replace family.
