    SOTD April 3, 2018

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick B1 injector
    Brush: JR #41 badger
    Soap: Stirling The Lounge
Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Zi'Peppino aftershave

Great shave with a new razor for me - Schick B1. Andrew's Shave Shop (@Linuxguile) provided this one for me and I'm really happy to now own it. Beautiful razor with great weight. Really enjoyable to use. A little experimentation getting the right angle but was rewarded with a nice shave in the end. Great lather from the Stirling soap and a nice finish with the RazoRock splash. All around excellent Tobacco Tuesday shave.

    Enjoy your day!

Had a nice 2 pass shave earlier this morning. The PermaSharp/SA combo was smooth, and the Arko did what it is supposed to do- produce an easy, nice, lather with zero emphasis on pleasing scent.
I’m thinking I may try to bowl lather the Arko this week as well, just for Scientific purposes.
    Have a great day all!

Thank you, Clint. Yes, the BB is in good shape. I have a long handled one which shows a little wear on the handle, but this one still has the black intact nicely.

Tabac war? Is that anything like the 100 years war? Great looking set up, Keith.
Just another snow free Spring day in greater Atlanta. Sigh.
    Stunning colours this morning, Clint!
Nice photo, Jim! I find that finishing with Florida Water usually works out very well.
Great looking razor, and a fantastic looking pic, Perry!

Thank you Jason. We are in full spring mode here in Atlanta. Maya and I are visiting Lexington later this week and the weather looks to be much colder than here.

Great setup Dan! I love the New!
Great setup, Neal! I hope the unpacking is going well.
    Veru cool, Keith!
Fantastic photo, Clint! Love the color theme!
Fantastic photo, Jim! I'm surprised that the San Antonio is still hanging arround.
I'm glad you didn't have any difficulty loading the blade, Perry. Beautiful shot of a beautiful razor!
Great shot Jason! When you bowl lather the Arko you will find that it can take a whole lot of water. I did a test lather with my Yaqi Silver Tip to help work out some of the funk and off of a 10 second load I ended up with The Dry Dock full to the top with amazingly shiny lather!
That brush handle is amazing, Mark!

Thank you, Andrew! Loading was fairly easy. Now, getting the blade out might be another story! But I have a few more shaves before I'll need to do that. It's certainly a beautiful razor.

Thank you Andrew. With gifts from the wife, girls and Wade I have ended up with more creams than I intended. At least the AOS creams work well.

Lexington, KY. My youngest daughter, Maya, is going to attend the University of Kentucky next year. The weather there is showing the possibility of snow showers Saturday.

My oldest daughter, Asha, will be attending Arizona State University for grad school. She and I are going out to Tempe later this month. I can safely say we won't being have cold weather or snow showers for that trip.

That's exciting! Remind me what Asha was studying. I remember she attends Alabama.
