WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Haslinger Shafmilch today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11/TGN 2-Band Finest brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten still in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Classic Fougere aftershave.

Trying different things may be fun, but sometimes it doesn`t feel so great. What a difference Proraso makes. The razor felt like it was dragging a little. I still got a great shave with 2 passes, WTG/ATG almost no clean up. I purely don`t like the dragging part, very uncomfortable, luckily, no irritation. Not smooth, but close enough. A cold water rinse, topped with Afta. Feel good, God Bless to all.

First use of the Astra SS ($7.50/100 a deal I could not refuse). '31 Wardonia for the beard, Shake Sharp v1.0 head shave, very happy with the shave.

Hey Friends,

here my Sunday shave. Belated, because i had absolutely no time during easter. I had to work, so only minimal time for the shave and family-time. But here we are:


Razor: Merkur 42c aka 1904 // Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra // Soap: Saponificio Varesino Stella Alpina // Brush: Omega 11126 // Aftershave: 4711 Portugal // Cigar: Padron Maduro

So Friends, this was (for some time) my last shave. With a Safety Razor. I´m trying to shave with a straight razor. Just to learn it. So Straight razors will be my Go-to choice the next shaves. Wish me luck.

This shave was great. The razor is very gentle for an open comb and pairs very nicely with the blade. The rest? Outstanding!!!
