Normally, I would accept your offer gratefully, but I have `essential tremors`. I take medication just to be able to hold on to the handle. The meds are time released, so i must time exactly when to put the blade to my skin. On a good day I have about 25 -30 minutes of steadiness. I have 4 different razors with flexible heads, so i`m not in bad shape, they add a few minutes to my allotted time(which varies). I also have a Tech, an SS flare and an RR Hawk that I should give up. I use them from time to time, but it is such a chore, it`s hardly worth it. Thanks for the offer, but I wouldn`t be able to use it. I will return your offer, if there is any one of three mentioned, it`s yours, sincerely, Bill and God Bless.

    April 8 Plans

    Parker SRX shavette
    Perma-Sharp Super (2)
Rudy Vey Chubby handle with Shavemac Two-band Silvertip knot
    Mike's Natural Soap - unscented
Thayers, Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, Fine L'Orange Noir, and Terre d’Hermès Parfum

My RV brush is an LE that I picked up a few years ago. I have no. 15, as my Dad was born in 1915. After a couple of months of regular use, I've become comfortable using the Parker SRX shavette as an everyday razor. For daily shaves, I'll go with one pass. If I go for two passes, I'll skip a day between shaves. I plan to use it for most of April and then return to DE shaving for awhile. If you've been considering a shavette, this is the one to get. It is a steal at $25, relatively easy to learn, and delivers a wonderfully close and comfortable shave once you get the hang of it.

I hope you all have a great Sunday!

Today's shave was with a Commie Russian Beauty. I had a very smooth, and very noisy 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. These are some great shaving razors, and very very noisy, probably due to the steel being extra hard.

Razor- Stiz, "Dawn", Made in Moscow. 1975
    Brush- Stirling Boar
    Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
    Aftershave- Family Dollars "Spice"

Evening Single Pass Head Shave: SABI (aka Toro Mastiff)/BIC (3). Like the Simplex but even moreso, ample blade gap and narrow bottom plate blade support contribute to a bladey, go easy shave experience. Especially with its heavy handle probably not the best for a beginner head shaver but it certainly gets the job done.[IMG]

Tomorrow morning, after 2 days of no shaves, it's time to put the Personna Twin II Plus cartridge to the test. I doubt it will survive my Dwarven-like Mithril stubble.

What do you have that old shave cup for? I'll tell ya what. I'll take it off your hands and trade you a Chinese-made brittle pottery bowl. I'm not sure if I could find anyone who would want that old cup, so I would have to keep it I bet. I won't charge for storage.

Dayum that Crown King formula looks so yogurty and creamy. That's beyond top shelf. A 10 out of 10 looking lather IMO.

Man, I've got to eventually order the new Clubman scents but I'm practically out of storage space for my gear. I've heard good things about the new Clubman scents.

    Arko Adjustable April!!

    April 7

    Razor - 1962 (H1) Gillette Slim (Me)
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - BoS Omega 10066
    Post - Alum

Switching razor and blade to the Slim and Ladas. Fine Russian blade in another fine American adjustable razor. Arko stick and the Omega 10066 boar brush. I guess I'm spoiled to synthetics or my lush Wolf Whiskers Silvertip because I didn't make the usual amount of lather. Plenty for two passes and touch up but I couldn't have done a third pass. The smaller boar brush befuddled me, it seems.

Two passes, touch up, near-BBS, over all smooth and fine shave with quiet alum. No complaints, worries, or concerns. That's the way it should be every night. My "Monday" is at an end and it was a busy and productive one. Just the way I like it. And no unexpected bills today! Things are settling down nicely.

Tonight is a big night in the Yakuza/Cartel hockey arena. Blues are playing the Avalanche. If the Blues just get to overtime they will go to the playoffs. If the Avs beat them in regulation - then Colorado goes to the playoffs. Judging from the current score and period - congratulations to the Avalanche for sending the Blues home. Until we get a team that can play solid hockey more than every third game we're going to remain cupless around here.
