What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

3rd use of the Wostenholm (trying to use this thread to keep track on the sly). 2 passes and touch ups left me with a DFS.

 

Unrestored Joseph Rodgers ivory-scaled chopper. The dark areas on the blade are reflections.

Cream is Floris 89, stirred not shaken with a Rooney 3/2 Heritage.

5/8 F.W. Engels Perfect Temper Had a wonderful shave with this razor.She was finished on a J-Nat .Keen and butter smooth edge .Love Engels Argo Steel .Shave is always comfortable .

Nice shave with the Chevalier. The Opal was NOS which means old and stinky, really nasty but it lathered well.

Great shave this morning. This T.I. is turning into a favored razor. I like this one alot. I enjoy the Propaganda soap but it's not a stand alone soap for me. I have to use a balm. My guess is I could probably get along without (balm) in the summer but not during the winter. Yes, it's still winter around here, had to shovel snow again this morning.

 

My new Lund showed up today. It wasn’t advertised as NOS but it may as well be. Virtually no evidence of hone wear under the loupe at all. It’s a beauty. It appears to be slightly older than my other one based on the tang length. This one is an 11/16 near wedge that gives a lovely smooth shave. Here it is on it’s maiden voyage.

Tonight's shave was with a Russian Rat Razor. Its not a show piece, but it is a fantastic shaving instrument. I has a glass smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. This is another very very noisy razor, probably because of the hardness of the steel. Zero issues.
