It's funny how things work when it comes to choosing gear. Happy shaves!

 

I wish I had got the Wilkinson Sword razor at the start of wet shaving. It would have saved a lot of aggrevation, almost quit DE shaving at first because I had a cheap Sally's Beauty razor that was junk. The Wilkinson shaves beautifully and for around $9 it can compete with more expensive razors IMO.

 

I was just thinking- I wish I had gotten a Wilkinson when I started also I’m having to shave so frequently now for work- sometimes 16-18hours apart- that I am really enjoying very mild shavers and the Wilkinson is one of them.

 

Lol was thinking more of cloned meat, but in some places dog meat is a delicacy. Perhaps here in America as dark as we know. Soylent Green is people!

First shave with this razor, my GF picked this up for me recently. Usually a bit reluctant with OC razors due to their agressivness. Had a bit of tugging but ended up with a perfectly smooth BBS. The Brain Freeze is cold as heck, bordering on painful IMO similar to the Glacial soaps. The aftershave has a cologne type scent similar to Soap Smooth War Blend but heavier on the menthol. Thew on some CL salve just in case my face was too numb to tell if any damage was done. Very surprised with today's shave results. Hope everyone had a similar experience!

 

It's very mild and efficent, but is still capable of giving a BBS with no problem which is surprising from a mostly plastic razor, although the metal in the handle does give it some weight.

Evening Single Pass Head Shave: first shave with this lovely Rotbart Mond-Extra RFB, silver plated fluted handle edition (the coolest I think). Milder than I expected, care has to be taken with angle to get the most from it, efficient when properly managed. 73g. Very very nice razor.

Final shave with the Ladas and it seemed like it knew it. Not horrible but a bit tuggy in places. Sometimes Ladas let you know that three shaves is a safe limit. Still a favorite. I added the Stirling Mentholated pre-shave soap tonight since it's Menthol Monday. Nice burst of coolness to the Arko with the Stirling on first. Two passes and some touch up for a very nice DFS result. The 30DC LE brush is as awesome a performer with the Tuxedo knot as it is a looker!

My new Qshave arrived today which was a total surprise. It shipped Friday, I believe, from Michigan and was here already. Maybe the USPS can find Ofallon faster than St. Charles. Who knows. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Love this soap, it reminds me of growing up in Florida and smelling the wild key limes. Takes me back to reading Hemingway, on the beach, with a glass of scotch and a good cigar.
If you like citrus, this one has it!
