    I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. Jeff's Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #268 synthetic horse brush. I did two passes with the Schick E2 Injector Razor using a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Edit: I was wondering how Jeff was doing and I did a search. I found this video from 5 days ago.
    It has an update at the end that says that the marrow transplant was a success and that he is recovering at home since last December but still has a ways to go (2 years).

    What can I say - such a delightful two pass BBS shave that I enjoyed so much. The Frozen Tundra is a menthol force to be reckoned with because it's the second coldest Stirling soap after the Glacials. Its scent is so beautiful - it's a blend of wintergreen, peppermint, and earthiness. The lather exploded off my Plissoft synthetic and my Super Speed skated across my face knocking off all the stubble so easily. Did I ever enjoy the Rubby Dubby Doo's additional freeze!

    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick B1 injector
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
    Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
    Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Black Tea aftershave

    04/11/2017 - Last Night's Shave

    STIRLING LEMON CHILL - shave soap scooped into a Suribachi bowl - PAA GREEN RAY Synthetic (faux horse knot) - MERKUR 34G - NOS Schick Vintage plus platinum on 2nd shave - AOS LEMON essential oil pre and post.

    A++++ BBS - 3 passes + pick ups..

    Prey, that’s a nice picture! I’m almost convinced that the closest and smoothest Schick shaves come from their repeating razors.

    **Historical Note** On this date in 1969, my future wife and I attended a Jimi Hendrix concert at the old Spectrum in Philadelphia. Remember it like it was yesterday; Red House, Foxy Lady, I Don't Live Today, Hear My Train A Coming, Stone Free, Star Spangled Banner, Purple Haze and Voodoo Child.. We were married 2 years later and yes, we're still married!

    Bowl: Dollar Tree salsa
    Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock (1) (the 7 O'Clock I started the week with had a "bad" side. 1st time that's ever happened to me)
    Aftershave: HBG Vermont

    Soap: TOBS Avocado Cream
    Razor: Gillette NEW Short Comb
    Blade: Vintage Personna 74 Tungsten (Shave #21)
    Brush: John’s Brushes Silvertip-22mmx48mm
    Aftershave: Country Club Frozen Vetiver

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    TOBS Avocado Cream today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten still in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

    Executive Man is a Creed Aventus Clone. Some other soaps that share the same scent profile are Fine Platinum and RazoRock Emperor. The scent profile consists of Pineapple, Bergamot, and Black Pepper. Think of the woodsy core of a pineapple with a tiny hit of black pepper and a subtle cologne type note(Bergamot). It is truly one of my favorite modern cologne type scents.
