It was another fine shave with my Schick C2 repeating magazine razor.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the Schick repeating razor gives the BEST two pass shave of any injector. I’ve gotten a smooth and comfortable shave every time. I can achieve a BBS shave in two passes with no nicks or irritation.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. Jeff's Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #268 synthetic horse brush. I did two passes with the Gillette 195 Fatboy Razor using an Astra SP blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

I’m glad to see that PAL adjustable in use.

Canadian pride from an Israeli dude - the Rockwell Razors soap (made in Toronto) gave me tons of lovely old-school scented lather for a great BBS shave. The Booster Mosswood aftershave had me smelling like I just stepped out of a barbershop!

Maggard Limes & Bergamot today. 20 seconds to load the Cowboy Classic/Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten still in the Gillette NEW Short Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Sandpiper aftershave.

Yes, the P is pronounced like an R. Paketa = Rocket. My understanding is this razor was produced in commemoration of Yuri Gargarin’s historic first manned flight in space in 1961. That’s why I’ve paired it with the commerative pin showing the actual day of the flight.

Coincidentally, yesterday was the 57th year anniversary of the flight.

* PAA Mentholated CUBE pre shave soap.
* Crown King Blue Samhain Soap
* Whipped Dog 30 mm Boar - lathered in Suribachi bowl.
* ZY (cheap Chinese) DE head Open Comb/Closed Comb combo - AMAZING RAZOR head - AGGRESSIVE!!! but no blood - seems to "Dig In" and LIFT and cut whisker - i found closed comb side more aggressive than the OC side - I paid like 6 bucks for this and it came with a garbage plastic handle that was trashed on arrival - the handle here is West Coast Shaving - and like all there handles - its affordable and very cool.
* Walgreens - Spray Witch Hazel.
* Blue Samhain Crown King cologne/aftershave.
* Crown King Pumpkn' 314 STAR JELLY after shave..

This Green Fields soap can very easily pass as a menthol product because it gives a good cooling effect. Its scent is a delicious blend of peppermint and basil - by the way, it lathers like a bomb and is it ever skin-friendly. I'll soon need some more of the Lucky Tiger aftershave cream, but I still have plenty of Aqua Velva!
