Saturday Shave

While this was rough week at work and I just sent the department of the treasury a check at least my shaves delivered some happiness.

The AoS tallow proves again it's reputation is deserved and I am glad I have a huge stock. While any scent from this puck is long gone it produces some wet slick lather. The edge of this Brian Brown is fresh of a CrOx and 50k diamond strop and it showed, smooth and sharp. An epic shave to start the weekend. Now time for some ramen as the government took my lunch money.... and my dinner money.

How many? Five - next time I load a Kai blade. Moving it around to different razors might shorten it's usable life, but now I know. Grabbed up the old boar brush, loaded from the old OS mug, and built my lather in the ceramic dish. No mysteries about the three Stirling samples I have open right now. Just a matter of finding post shave splashes that don't clash. The Kai blade was just at the edge of getting tuggy. Not so much that I chose to change it, but enough that I knew it was done. The FB doesn't usually feel this rough. Still got my three passes, but went easy on clean up fiddling. Alum was sparkly enough that I tossed the blade right away. The OS AS went on cool for the alcohol content. SAS, but not CCS for my pushing the blade life.

And with a bang they were off..and Holden Beers was in the lead , fast on his way across the lush green field to winning the sack race with no competitors in sight, as he was tackled by his adoring fans as he crossed the finish line he realized they were stadium security not fans , and it was his pants around his knees..not a sack , and next time he shouldn't drink so much at a football game .
