If anyone else has used TSD Splash w/Bay Rum, do you agree that the clove scent jumps out at first(but not 100%), then settles down after about 1 1/2 hours so that the other features of a Bay Rum A.S. mix in? Maybe I need to shake it more to get it ALL to mix in right away, as is what happens with Stephan Bay Rum.
Ooops, I was about to correct myself, as of course you DID announce it on the prev. page...... Your birthday comes on the day of a very soggy Boston Marathon race.
April 16, 2018 Colonial Razors General with Darwin Brass Feather Pro Super Shavemac ATG LE Silvertip D01 Flat Top Kramperts Finest Frostbite Soap & AS Pino Silvestri
Thank you Jim. It should be a pretty easy day today. I hope you have a great Monday as well. Great photo. Wow, 15 uses on a Gem Blade.
That is a fantastic lineup and picture Perry. I can understand why those are some favored products. Happy Birthday
April 16, 2018 Razor: Impoverished Patrician Blade: Treet Platinum (1) Brush: 30DC LE/Pure Badger Soap: Williams Post: Alum, Listerine, WH I seem to have had an Eliza Doolittle (or is it Henry Higgins?) moment this morning. Shave #3 with the Patrician and it seems that the last round of tweaking has restored its sense of gentility. I need another shave with more growth to be certain, but I think I've brought it back about as far as I can with my limited skills. It's usable as is, however, and, when I'm more flush, I hope to be able to send it off to Capt. Murphy or RE for a proper refurbish. And a great shave was had by all...
Looks like my German-made blade dispenser. Just goes to show that blades work well for some folks and not for others.
Agreed, my old man is 85 and has used them in his razors all his life. He swears by them. They just didn't like me it seems
